  1. I took my computer to be fixed by The Tech Guys in PC World the other day. When I finally picked it up and started using it again, I noticed I had floods of spam in my inbox, most of it pornographic. I've had this certain email account for years and I've hardly ever had spam or junk mail. I'm not trying to claim I have a case here because, when it really comes down to it, it's just junk mail. But the people who worked there were so rude and they made me nervous; when I was trying to explain what was wrong with my computer, another guy behind the desk kept smirking, and the guy I was talking to kept sniggering. By the time I'd finished explaining I just wanted to grab my computer and go elsewhere. It's not the first time I've experienced this sort of thing here and they seem to take every single customer for a ride if they aren't tech-savvy. Like I said, I know this is barely nothing to complain about, but the knowledge that they've used my email account for something worries me. Thankfully I had the foresight to back up any private files on USB and delete them from my computer, but that shouldn't have to be something I worry about when handing my computer over to professionals. Has anyone else had similar experiences?
