Turbo problem power loss in Volvo V50

Afew times. Then asked Volvo if I could have a 2nd opinion. They would not let me take it to a non-Volvo garage as it was within warrantee, but booked it into another dealership where the clutch problem was diagnosed although there was no indication that this was a problem. No one has been helpful. -
I’ve had an apparent problem with the turbo on a V50 (less than a year old from brand new), which occurred just after a brake fluid leak was fixed? It meant a loss of turbo in first gear; the lag then moved up the gears. This happened in the summer but the problem is still not fixed. Now it supposedly has a clutch problem. There was no indication whatsoever that the car had this problem or ever had. This is a relatively new car - should it be having these problems? Is there a systemic issue here? Any ideas? Similar problems out there?
