Sorry. I saw somewhere to post messages with the message "subbing" or something like this to build at least 20 posts so I can post links like the one I posted in my request for advice. Many apologies if this is wrong or incorrect. And to everybody else thank you very much for your reply, although "Cash Cow" almost feels like an insult lol but I see what you mean. As I said I don't really feel like I pay money to anybody just because they ask me for it. It is unlikely that I would have ever made an arrangement with Moorcroft if I didn't owe the money, I just can't find any paperwork for this debt thus the CCA request I guess. Reading between the lines from their letter they are obviously confident of a Court win should I refuse to pay them, probably basing their evidence on the fact I have paid them for the last 3 years - who can argue with that? Anyway, suffice to say, I am not sure what they want of me and I won't be offering up any more information to them as I don't see the point. At the moment they have stated in the letter that they will not pursue this debt until they receive the information I requested or they advise me to the contrary (whatever that means). Anyway, I really do appreciate all your advice and will act on it, after all that's why I asked. Regards ajs

Hi all. Recently I have been going through all my debts (several of them unfortunately lol) and just sorting out my paperwork into some sort of order. When searching my paperwork for my debt to Moorcroft I was unable to find anything in my paperwork about which debt this relates to. On my letters off Moorcroft they say Peter Craig, which seems to belong to Littlewoods group. I have been paying this debt for about 3 years under an agreement with them. Although I am not able to find what exactly this debt relates to I would say I owe it as I wouldn't have been paying them for so long. So, after reading about something called a CCA request on these forums, I sent one off to Moorcroft with a covering letter asking them to clarify who the original creditor was. They seem to want me to provide information as to what I would rely on if the matter was disputed in court. TBH I am not really sure what I've done lol. I certainly don't want to go to court and I sent the CCA request to find who I actually owed this money to. Maybe I have sent them the wrong letter or something? Maybe there was a more appropriate letter I should have sent. As I have said I have always paid these people on time and will no doubt continue, I was just after more information on the original creditor as I can't find any in my own files. If possible could someone please advise me on what information they are asking for in this letter, I really can't make out what they want from me.
