  1. Finally got my tickets after e-mailing on line help. Wise words Wriggler7, will be taking your advice in future but I did think we were in the 21st century, just shows how wrong I can be. Will investigate your suggestion next time I visit the rail station. Tickets are for April, incidentally, can you still buy pre-booked tickets at the station at the discount(?) price. As you can see I am not a frequent rail traveller, I'm in the Top Gear camp on that point, if not on most others. Thanks for the response
  2. Thiis is my first CAG message, following my first experience with Virgin E-ticketing. It took hours to wade through, kept stalling at page 2 "next up choose your ticket" I selected the train bit the relevent bit did not turn red and allow me to progress. Eventually bypassed this by selecting tickets via National Rail Enquiries website which took me to page 3 of the Virgin site. Eventually got through with very slow response and paid by Visa after the usual security registration, and got my confirmation. Later my E-tickets were e-mailed but I could only download and print the return journey!. When I tried the outward journey by clicking the link in exactly the same manner the message came back "this page cannot be found" I phoned the problem telephone number (4.9 pence per minute) and they are going to e-mail me again in 20 mins. The 20 mins has gone and no mail. If the same bloke programmes Sir Richard's balloon nav systems as designs his ticketing system no wonder he keeps getting lost.
