  1. Ok, Thanks. I did state that i was my first time forgetting it.(And it was) I'll have a go again, but i wasn't sure i waived my right since i paid the fine after the first appeal was turned down
  2. Sorry, i was on a bus. I get free travel with the oyster photocard i have.
  3. I forgot my oystercard one day and was on my way back from college, the 2 stops after i boarded there were ticket inspecters, and thus not having my photocard on me(16-18 Free bus/tram travel) i was fined. I was told i could appeal so i did the second i got home, but i receieved a letter a couple days ago saying that it was turned down. The appeal was saying how i did have free travel and i also uploaded a photo of my oyster photocard. So today i payed the fine, but went on to read the faq with mentioned the "Code of Practice and the Penalty Fare Rules", so i looked it up and came onto the DFT website and read under 4.29 that they should expect people to forget their "ticket" or "photocard" sometimes. My main question is can i still appeal it now i've payed the fine and if i can does 4.29's section cover me if i mention it in the 2nd appeal. (No actual reason on the letter said why my appeal was turned down). Thanks!
