Hi I received a Citation (Form 05) from Patten & Prentice on behalf of HFC for an unpaid debt of £7110.71 on a Credit Card. I have 21 days from the 5 January to respond on Form 03 or Form 07. Today I attempted to phone HFC, was transferred to collections direct and paid £900. I have arranged to pay £2000 tomorrow and a further £2000 next week before a final payment of the balance as soon as possible after that (which might well be after that 21 day limit). I am trying to avoid being taken to Court. Does anyone know if this will mean that HFC call off the dogs? Should I be handling this differently? Thanks Barrhead
