  1. thanks for the info guys, will send the SAR in the morning.thanks.
  2. Hello everyone, first time here in a long time. The question is.......... can i reclaim PPI if it was from prior to 2005? I don't know if i was sold it and im not sure of exact dates but i had two adverse credit mortgages and was paying a hell of a lot for them. i know one was from 04 and the other was previous to that poss 2000. I know the firms i got them from and i have account numbers. Is it just a case of sending a SAR and waiting to see what i get back and will they still have records? Thanks in advance, and yes i have been reading the forums but i am uncertain as to the rules prior to 2005 ,thanks.
  3. Hi all, been a long time since i was last here thanks to the help from this site. I have a question that i was wondering some one may have experienced themselves, my wifes Barclaycard visa was due to expire about 18 months ago and we got a letter saying as we were not paying of more than the minimum amount each month they were withdrawing the credit facility. 1, do i have to pay intrest on the money outstanding if they have refused to give her a new card ,are they breaking the aggrement ? 2, can i claim it back if i dont have to ? 3,when the intrest rate on the card goes up do i have to pay it or should it be at the rate it was when they refused to renew her card ?. Thanks in advance for your help people and keep up the fantastic work.
  4. go get em Les!!!!!! Ive been watching you for a while, your deffo on a winner i would say.hope so because i am going to do it if you win .those people at spml really do need a wakeup call. keep it up .
  5. Hi all, wonder if any of you can help me on this issue ?. I have been checking my credit file and have found that i have 7 linked address' on my report that have been put on there by either first national tricity finance or aktiv kapital. These address' are all variations of a address i had at the time, but they are not correct address' of where i lived. Some have the postcode wrong, some have the street name wrong and the postcode wrong, some are completely wrong i.e have never lived on that street but it sounds like the street i did live on. Now aktiv and Thames credit have sent me a bill for a default that they say is mine.i got in touch with fntf and asked to see the paperwork to prove it was my account and they could not provide it only tell me where they got it from (Scottish power). It was then sold to aktiv or Thames and they have been asking for this money, but i have told them that i have never lived at the address that is on the default, one of the wrong ones on my credit report.i told them that i could prove it by way of electoral role entry's and still have had no paperwork about what it is alleged that i bought. They have left me alone since this but i have spoken to credit-expert and they say the only way that i can get the wrong address' off my credit report is to speak to the people that put it on the report (aktiv, fntf). Do i have the right to get them to remove the address' as they cannot prove i lived there,i can prove it by way of electoral role or will they say it sounds like your address so you must have lived there. Please bear in mind that there is no original paperwork for this sale as i have requested it and only had a computer print out with no items purchased on it just payments made with my name on it . any ideas ?.:-?
  6. HI all, Does anyone have any contact details for BRISTOL AND WEST mortgages.looked round the site with the search option and keep drawing a blank !.:?
  7. I WON,YEEEHAAAA GOT MY CHECK THIS MORNING FROM THE BANK. Got up this morning, took the dog out, came back and on the mat was a letter from A/L.Opened it and inside was my cheque. Just as a note to all i did as someone else said and sent a list of the charges to the solicitor at A/L direct by e-mail.Two days latter there it is. Went into the bank this afternoon to pay the cheque in and asked the lady on the counter to ask me what i had got the cheque for, told her and all the staff in the branch were riveted to my story of how i and YOU GUYS got my money back. They even said well done. Thanks again guys, donation coming as soon as the cheque clears. :)
  8. Hi have read your post with interest as i to am a resident of Doncaster.Have you spoken to the Freepress about this or even the Yorkshire Post.I seem to remember over the last 10 years the DRI has had quite a record of getting things wrong in a big way with patients, sometimes leading to deaths. If there,s one thing that will spur the board of directors into action its the threat of a costly court case and the loss of its star rating.hope this will help,Rob.
  9. Well done its always good to see people winning.
  10. Don't worry guys and girls it will all be OK.just think ,if the bank takes you to court, are they really going to tell the judge HOW MUCH it really cost to tell you that they haven't paid your direct debit, because you did have enough money in your account at midnight but then they took charges out before they paid your bills causing you to miss the payment and charging you £34 for the pleasure. As many people have said before on this site they are willing to lose the money we claim from them as they are making BILLIONS from ripping people off for charges.they ain't going to kill the goose that lays golden eggs are they.Hang in there guys it will soon be yours (the money).
  11. BRILLIANT, well done Rosemary. This is one of the best posts i have read on this site in the past few months. It sounds like you deserve to feel PROUD of yourself.your post is an inspiration to all.well done.
