Thanks for your replies. No I don't have insurance, they did offer me it when I bought the laptop. I was wondering if I could take out an insurance then report it broken in a few week's? Thanks again.

Hi everyone. I bought an Acer aspire from PC world about 6 weeks ago and i have just stood on the screen and cracked it. I have dealt with this pc world before and they have screwed me over in the past so I know what to expect. The only difference this time Is the time scale and the fact it is still under warranty. Do I have a leg to stand on as I broke it myself or is the warranty useless? Thanks for your time.

Hello. About 12 months ago I told t-mobile that I was starting a new job and I would be a few days/week late with my payment and they said that is was fine. Anyway I have recently checked my credit report and it says I have a missed payment for 2 months because they carried it on for 2 months. Do I have a case here? if so what should I do? Thanks.

Hello everyone, I ordered a TV from Very.co.uk on the 1/12/11 for just under £600, now since I knew the interest would be sky high, I used a voucher code, 'Buy Now Pay Later' witch means that I bought the TV and didn't but anything for 12 months but I would have to pay it in full at the end and avoid paying Interest. I have just logged onto my Very account and seen that I have been charged £45 account interest for the month??? So it seems that the code hasn't worked but It was a Valid code as it was of the Very website and I am pretty sure I got it in an email as well. Were do I stand with this? Thank you very much.

Hello, I signed I Contract with Manpower Recruitment on June 13 2011, length of the contract was for 12 months. I was assigned to Jaguar Land Rover in Halewood (Liverpool) and worked there from June 13 to 23rd of December when Manpower called me in before my shift on the 23rd and told me that my assignment was finished with Jaguar and that I was on 1 Weeks notice and would be paid till the 30th of December 2011. Now on the 1st of Jan of course, the new temp workers law came into place. There was not much difference when this came into place apart from that we agency workers got £30 shift allowance (Previously £0) now the strange thing is, I was given £30 shift allowance, which was paid on the 6th of January 2012 which was one of the benefits that Jaguar Temps got, even tho my last week was on the 30th of December 2011. So now you have my story, Am I entitled to pay between assignments? By the way, we work a week behind. Thank you for reading.

How do everyone.. I dropped my Acer laptop last month and the screen 'bled' (Lines and blotches on screen). I paid for it to get repaired properly by a genuine repair centre laptop-power . co . uk . They have 1 big store by me. I just started my laptop up, was on it for about 10 minutes an I have JUST literally moved my laptop screen back and this screen broke (bled) again. When it broke the first time I can understand, it has had 12+ months of use and I had dropped it a few times previously, but not this time. Iv'e been VERY careful with it since it was repaired 1 month ago and I pushed the screen back in it broke? So this is telling me that the screen wasn't fitted properly? Cheers..

How do everyone, I sold a few things not long ago on eBay and i did not know about that fees after you sold something on eBay. I Sold 3 things which = about £320 and now Newman Debt Collectors are sending me a Collection letter of £43.77. I was just wondering, if i don't pay this, what will happen? Thanks very much.

How do, About 5 years ago i bought a laptop from PC World and in the first 12/16 months it was away getting repaired more than i had it. PC World the give me a choice of laptop to pick, with about 100 pound more to spend. So i picked the Pavillion DV9000/9500. About 12 odd months ago i got pink lines on my screen, i sent it away to a 3rd part repair center to get fixed and they sent it back they said it was repaired but when i got it switched on the screen was even worse, the WHOLE screen was pink lines and i could not return as the company had gone bust. So its been lying in my home for about 12 months. I decided to get it fixed recently and have ordered a new screen but on more research i have found out that these laptops had a faulty motherboard. HP knew about this and changed there warranty to 2 years instead of 12 months, but i thought products were covered up to 6 years and if there is a faulty product then you can get a repair etc etc? Hello, My first post here so here it goes.. I bought a Magnet from eBay on Monday and i received it on the 10th of December. It came from Germany to me here in the U.K. I got home from work and opened the packaging for the Magnet, On inspection it looks fine, and as you do with new things..You try them out, i stuck my (powerful) magnet to a simple piece of metal so i could easily slide it off. So i put the magnet onto the metal, sticks as expected i slide it off, THEN i do it again right after, no different to the first time i put the magnet onto the metal, I never threw it on or drop it on the metal i slowly approached the metal with the magnet untill it started pulling then all of a sudden..SMASHHH, CRACKKK!! my magnet (£28 - €35) has Smashed within the 1st 8 hours of me having it. I have messaged the seller back and explained everything just waiting for a reply. The seller is a Business in Germany with over 33,600 Feedbacks. Were do i stand within this? Thanks for reading.
