  1. They just rang me back, wanted payment today, two days early but are prepared to waive the late payment fee if I give debit card details and pay on Friday. I obviously didnt give them and will be e-mailing them friday afternoon.
  2. PTP have a damn cheek!! they rang my work number today and asked for me, I told them to ring my mobile.....and my mobile only, at 2.30pm..no call. I rang back and asked what was going on to which I got ' Its regarding your cancelled direct debit and collections will ring you at 4pm' we will see. Anyway I checked my account and PTP have charged me £59.00 non payment fee and the money isn't even due until Friday!!! I shall e-mail them later today to request only contact by e-mail and letter. Does anyone have a template letter at all Thanks.
  3. Cheers on Friday I will post maybe asking emails/letters to send re no phone contact and also letters offering payment....wonga debt has gone up from £423 to £453 in three days...they can dream if they think im paying interest at a tenner a day...I will pay the loan and not a penny more!
  4. Ok I will do that on Thursday...Im more worried about Wonga!, I could handle the PTP direct debit but if wonga weighed in at 2am I really would be done for!....having spoken to PTP they said they didnt have time to reinstate the direct debit..so heres hoping, on Monday nxt week I intend to email them all with an offer and take neccesary steps to stop phone contact....its Wonga worry about, ive read the reviews
  5. Hi everyone, Im new to this forum and have decided to join having got myself stuck in the payday loan trap....At this moment in time I owe £453 to Wonga (£300 loan), £584 to PTP (£450 loan) and £400 to payday UK. Have been in touch with Payday Uk today as I defaulted last month and they have offered me a 3 month repayment plan which, I may be able to pay but didnt commit to, said I would ring them Friday which is my payday. I cancelled my direct debit last week with PTP and they have e-mailed me stating that they need me to contact them urgently as direct debit cancelled, I did this today saying I would once again contact them Friday with a view to paying, but not the full amount. However I havent contacted Wonga yet as I defaulted with them Saturday and they havent contacted me. I have cancelled my debit card and will be paid on Friday, I intend to make arrangements with these companies but need some advise on how to do this. Should I email them with an offer of payment, I can afford £50 per month each? , I have heard horror stories that even though I have cancelled my card they can still take money from it ! Is this true?, also My payday being Friday...I intend to wake at 2am to transfer my wages to another Natwest account I have I guess this is sensible as wonga take payments (sometimes the full amount) from 5am. Any advise would be appreciated .....I fully accept responsibility for this mess but really need to sort it out as £250 interest a month is crippling me.....Thanks
