  1. I'm not suggesting that there are any mad, crazy, bunny boiling types on this forum but would strongly suggest you ******* your telephone number (just in case like! )
  2. The last charge I had for an unpaid direct debit was £30 There could of been an increase in charges since though as this was in August 2005
  3. lol Don't worry! The letter will have been done in one dept the acknowledgement in another I expect they crossed post. Just ignore it and TRY to keep your account checks down to twenty a day!!!!!
  4. Personally I'd take their hand off but then Im an impatient spendthrift. Be calculating in your decision flip a coin or summat lol
  5. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/site-questions-suggestions/53182-cant-find-what-youre.html
  6. Yes Kazdoc you can do it that way, I did my schedule just like it both times date: Fee: Charge: 14/2/07 unpaid d/d far too much etc!!!
  7. Hiya Yes that right Keep an eye on your account ...............any day now!
  8. For the purpose of loan applications, and repayment of debt is it right/lawful/fair to take into consideration child tax credit payments? I can understand the working tax credits would be but Im not so certain about the child ones..........?
  9. Hiya Vikki I confess that I haven't really read many Nationwide threads for a while but back in December when I claimed from them, I was settled within three days of recieving the same letter that you have had from Mr. Bacon. I can't imagine why your story should be any different, so don't worry!
  10. I dont know about other internet providers but aol has a "favourites" tab to save all your links in...........mines fit for bursting! lol
  11. Does seem extreme! I know that if my o/h is one minute late he loses fifteen minutes and on the odd occassion this has happened, he has, as you suggested, not bothered clocking in til the fifteenth minute. But a whole hour?!?!?!
  12. Hiya again Steven I wondered what happened to you! Not long now then eh?! keep us posted
  13. Hiya Sasmith! Thats very similar to me, I thought I had about £70 worth of charges ..........turned out to be nearer £600! If Nationwide continue to deal with claims as they have done uptil now then you should have your money within about a week of filing in court...........so well worth the faff lol Good luck!
  14. My sister and I both opened accounts last week, neither of us had to produce any identity, which I was quite shocked about, but I'm not complaining!
  15. Natwest Step account took me If they take me they will take anyone! online application, acceptance by return of post tis fabulous!
  16. Don't panic They always say they intend to defend They never do though! If Nationwide are still responding as they were when I successfully claimed my charges back you will have your money inside a week! Nationwide tend to pay what they see fit, so I wouldn't worry if you think you may of made a mistake, but DON'T accept any less than you KNOW you are entitled to. Hope this helps to ease your nerves. Good luck!
  17. Ive successfully claimed my charges back from Halifax twice and they haven't closed my account. If you are just after a basic account I can recommend the NatWest step account, you can apply for this online and they don't require any proof of address, or employment its all really easy. I'm sure someone else will be able to help if you would like an account that will offer overdraught facilities etc, but as I said Halifax are pretty good at NOT closing accounts uptil now. Good luck
  18. Hiya Yea thats about the size of it! Capital one have had there chance! good luck
  19. OMG!!! I can fully understand how you are feeling I would of freaked completely out! If the bag didn't say it would contain the chickens head (and who would want it?!) then it shouldn't of been there! I would contact enviromental health They will know if you have a good cause for complaint from the health point of view. You can guarantee if they get onto CO-OP the attitude will soon change. ewwww that is sooooooooo gross I dont buy chickens with giblets in cos the whole thing makes me gip but I honestly can't see me ever buying a whole one again now.
  20. Im naturally nosey I NEED to know now!!! Could you fill us in on your tv appearance to? I once had issues with a cheeseburger and Pharoh ants if that helps?!
  21. I would use the same address thats on the statements If its not right Im sure they will pass it onto the right dept.
  22. Yes send them a SAR and your £10 payment I have done the same with additions They responded very quickly too!
  23. It worries me that people with this kind of mentality are actually given a license to be in charge of a car in the first place.
  24. Hiya and welcome! Having arrears on your credit card wont make a bit of difference to your claim with the bank, you can claim back unfair charges from your credit card too! Take a few days to read through the frequently asked questions and answers, and as many threads as you can. There are so many stories similar and worse than yours and you will soon feel much better about your situation. If you have any problems understanding anything, or need any help at all just shout! Good luck
  25. sorry! If they file an acknowledgment of service within 14 days of service of the particulars of claim, this extends the time for filing a defence to 28 days from service of the particulars of claim.
