I signed up to study with ICS in September, paid £100 deposit. Was made redundant end of September. I never started the studies, or even got anything from them. I asked for a refund and cancellation. Got an email saying they will accept £300 as final payment. I said I don't have it, never started studies and paid £100 for nothing etc. Now being chased by Reid Shepherd and Co. For full amount of £2619?? I never signed anything, can they pursue me for this legally?

I have the following on my credit report, what does it mean? The account name Started: 22/06/2005 Defaulted: 05/08/2006 File updated for period to: 06/07/2008 Not sure when the six years for it to be removed is counted from? Thanks for any help x

If someone chased by capquest changed address, can they see it on your credit report? I have also been getting letters from them for someone previously living at my address and sending back with 'not residing here' but it keeps coming!!
