  1. As it says in the title Ive recieved a default charge of £12 (the same as the overlimit charge) The account is overlimit but i havent missed any payments as i pay through direct debit. Any ideas?
  2. well all done and dusted with AG fees too! Paid in full
  3. Im in the same boat try phoning them to hurry it along I think you have to wait 14 days before excecuting a warrant Kev
  4. Ok I have read this thread and tried to take it in But I have just had a conversation with a DCA which went like this I asked them to add to the credit reference that payments are being ,ade to the account. They did not say if the agreement had been ended or not but if it has then there should be no default from the DCA if they are recieving regular payments of a set amount over a set period of time If it hasnt and the account was a credit card account then payments are being made as per the contract so therefore it should be updated on your credit file as such But a default states that the credit aggreement has ended and there is no interest etc applied to the account so I am guessing the credit aggreeement has ended SO their should be no defaults from a DCA if they have not set up a credit aggreement with you! I am trying to find some more information on this as it is not fair to default a willing payer especially if you have set up your own agreement with the DCA Just my 2ps worth Kev

  10. hi If your advantage gold account has never provided with you with an advantage can you claim those fees back? Sam
  11. Sam aka Mrs KJ Hi all, Well I have recieved all my statements today (yes they charged me twice for getting them grr!) and have calculated that they have charged me £1060 in unfair charges and interest. Just sent a SOA email to Natwest (prefer not to disclose) and awaiting a replt before I send my letter off to request the charges back! Dear Sir, I unfortunatley wish to report that I have been treated unfairly and wihout any respect by the National Westminster. I recently recieved my full banking history with this bank and was horrified to find that there are over £1060 in unfair charges and interst from these charges. I can understand that you are a very busy person and this may not seem important to you, but I wish to reclaim these charges and interest as they have caused me to gain a default on my credit report. Even though I have been paying in regularly to my NatWest account and have tried on numerous occasions to come to an aggreement with the NatWest, they fail to agree and continue to charge excessive and unfair charges and interest. In addition to the charges, I am still being charged for the facility of an Advantage Gold Account which I promptley cancelled in October 2005 as I lost my job and knew that this apparant Advange would be no use to me as it never has. I was also four months pregnant and knew that despite my eagerness to find employment my chances were slim. My account currently stands at £1030 overdrawn. I feel this has caused me alot of stress and heartache and could have been quickly and simply resolved. I am utterley dissapointed in the NatWest's level of customer service, relations and understanding. Please if you could respond I would be gratefull. I will be posting a letter to reclaim these charges tonight as I have waited long enough for a serious understanding and acknowledgement of my situation. I am sick to the back teeth of being fobbed off and treated like a criminal. I know it may be wrong but worth a try!
