  1. That's similar to my plight. I purchased goods from a drop-shipping site in China at Christmas time last year. The goods never arrived, I quickly realised that I had been stung. I paid everyone back, but ebay and paypal decided to charge me fees for and I was left to sort things out on my own. Ebay and paypal, didn't want to know me and treated me like a criminal. It sickens me....and now i'm being pestered by a DCA.
  2. Ahh...I never knew that....ebay are looking for £316.07. But Newman are seeking £340. G
  3. You see, I was a victim of an ebay [problem] and lost over £800 but incurred £340 worth of ebay fees. Ebay froze my account, and so did paypal. They did not want to hear that I was a victim, I did try to appeal too...but they said no. So, I refuse to pay the fees.

This could result in legal action with the addition of further costs being applied to your account. Newman & Co
  7. Thanks for the advice, I have no intention of answering their phone call. They did write to me, on a few occasions, but I ignored the letters. Maybe I should have written back......what do you think? G They sent me a letter on 22nd April 2010, 6th may 2010 and 17th May 2010.
  8. Hi Folks, I'm new to the forum, and wonder if anyone has heard of Newman & C0. They are a firm of debt collectors. Well.....i'm being pestered like mad from them for an ebay debt - which i'm not paying. They phone me on my mobile every day at around 11am - 08453304800, of course, I do not answer. Moments later they phone my land line using - 01132732500, again, I do not answer it. Has anyone got any advice on how to avoid them calling - other than settling the debt! I have considered changing phone numbers...but that's a bit drastic. Thanks G
