  1. I had a letter threatening court action at the beginning of September, but as yet have received nothing else.
  2. Just had a letter from Court Proceedings Ltd re Final Action before Court letter too! I'm still ignoring it!
  3. Two letters for Court Proceedings saying if I don't pay they will issue county court judgements against me and take me to court. I've ignored them. Hope I'm doing the right thing!
  4. I've had two ukpc letters and two from Court Proceedings. Did you have any from Court Proceedings?
  5. I've just had another letter from Court Proceedings saying this is the Final Notice before County Court Action. I am ignoring it as I have ignored everything - bar the first letter when I emailed and stated my disablity etc, but of course got no reply. I just hope someone will visit me with a fruit cake with a file in!
  6. I've had three letters from UKCPS and now my first one from Court Proceedings. I parked on yellow lines but put my blue disabled badge out - callipers on both legs. I am not paying! If I can park on yellow lines on the main roads why not at the Aintree Retail Park?
  7. Thank you all. I'll stay firm and stoic!
  8. Further to my postings about UK CPS Ltd. I have had two reminders and no answer to my email asking for photographic evidence. I have now had a letter stating that my charge is now £100 plus £50 for preparing court papers. As a gesture of goodwill they will accept £120 as full and final settlement! This letter actually has an address and not a PO Box number. Do I continue to sit it out? They say I have entered a contractual agreement by going on to their premises. I am beginning to feel intimidated. I am disabled and a widow and I do feel bolishy enought that they can take me to court if they want. If they can't be bothered to reply to my initial email they can't say I am ignoring them. Some reassurance please!!!
  9. Hi all I parked at Aintree Retail Park outside M&S on double yellow lines with my blue badge. I wear calipers on both legs and can't walk far and there were no spaces near either disabled or ordinary. When I came out ten minutes later there was nothing on my car, but 3 weeks later I get a letter stating I haven't paid my fine and it is now £100. I phoned their number and got the 'pay now and appeal by email otherwise it is an extra £3 a day'. I didn't pay and emailed them to state what had happened. Of course there has been no reply. Today I have received a 2nd reminder notice. I have read the forum with interest, especially the gentleman who went to the police. I am happy to sit it out and see what happens and hopefully they will eventually forget about me! Fingers crossed.
