What I don't understand is If it's not compulsory to have a driving licence (as opposed to a licence to drive) and it's not compulsory to have a photo driving licence (which I haven't got) on what basis could the DVLA enforce a fine of £1000, which by the way seems completely disproportionate to any loss or damage incurred! My partner has just sent in his new photograph which is virtually identical to the one taken 10 years ago!

Euro Car Parks - Illegal tickets??

I've had one of these letters from Euro Carparks and a second letter today from Control Account - which I propose to ignore as I was not even driving the car on the date in question. However, curious as to how they get their info. First letter addressed to the occupier (cue laughter!), second uses my first name Kate - but all legal docs eg car registration, use my full name. So info is not from DVLA.
