  1. Hi Thanks for that. The police dont want to know as they believe its a civil matter. I am actually owed more money from these cowboys but have given up hope of getting that back, I was hoping that the car would be the only thing I could chase or is it a case that once dvla have issued a new log book then its tough luck ? Thanks again
  2. Hi all A car auction in Liverpool took a car off me and sold it they fobbed me off for months about it being sold then fobbed me off for several more months about getting paid. I might seem a bit blasé but I had a lot of ongoing business with them so never really worried too much about it. Anyway to cut a long story short I am not getting paid they have moved premises and although they are still operating I've no doubt that the company details will have changed. Doubtless whoever bought the car got a new logbook off Dvla however I never handed over the v5 and still have the original at home do I have any chance of chasing my car or do I chalk this down to experience ? Thanks
