  1. I needed to get a guarantor loan for a large amount and came across this company. I got all the documents together that they asked for and they kept me waiting on an decision for over 2 weeks. I then, the other day, got a message to say that my loan had been declined. When I telephoned their office, on a premium rate number, I was told, after much raising of voices, that all they needed was an up to date bank statement and a new DD form, but for them to "reconsider" the loan application I would have to "reapply". I said if all they needed was that then I could send it to them by email which I did. I then found another number, not the 0871 number, and when I called back they knew who I was, because they have "voice recognition software". Basically, they are a [problem] company, they are very sarcastic and don't want to help people, I would avoid them like the plague. I'm so relieved that I didn't go with them! AVOID!!
  2. With the voice recognition software they probably get alot of irate callers, I'm not surprised!
  3. I'd just like to say that I've had a lucky escape with this company. I was due to take a £4000 guarantor loan out with them. I've never known a company like it. If their "underwriters" don't like what you are telling them they hang up on you (oh but apparently I got cut off!, yeah a likely story). When you call them back, even in the middle of the day it says their offices are closed. I found another number for them not the 0871 number and when someone answered they knew who I was straightaway. I asked them how they did this, they said they had "voice recognition software". They don't want to help, they keep you hanging on for ages with a decision only to be told that all they needed from you was last months' bank statement and a new DD form, they stick to a script, they are very rude and sarcastic. I spoke, I think it was to the owner, a guy called "Ryan" who I have to say I wouldn't spit on him if he were on fire, a very rude company, so glad I didn't go with them!
  4. I took out a contract with 3 about a month ago and have had nothing but problems. On taking the contract I was told that it was 18 months with unlimited internet and unlimited texts, which was correct, but had a faulty phone. I took it back to the store and they subsequently exchanged it for a higher tarriff with 500 mins, unlimited texts and what I thought to be unlimited internet. My first bill didn't include the internet and I was charged £12.86 for this. I subsequently went back to the store and they said I had to contact customer services and get it taken off as he would also phone them to get the internet service applied to the contract and that when the bill came in if I had still been charged he would speak to customer services himself and get the situation rectified. I've just had my March bill in, and guess what I've been charged, monthly, for the use of the internet which makes my bill £10 more than my monthly charge. I had the £25 tarriff which included the internet, but they've charged me for it, on top of that I have another faulty phone. I don't want to cancel my contract but am I entitled to an exchange on the phone for a phone within that tarriff range and can the contract be sorted out without having to cancel and set up again. I'm so annoyed the 3 store seems to be my second home at the moment!
  5. Thanks to all, tribunal dates are in July, but I'll let you know the outcome!
  6. No I'm not worried but they've been so horrible to me that I wouldn't put anything past them, I've nothing to hide so I'm not at all worried, thanks!!
  7. Advice still needed on the criminal aspect of my thread please, thanks
  8. He's doing it on a NWNF basis but has very high hopes that I will win as we are going down the lines of constructive dismissal on the grounds of religious beliefs as also I had been bullied in the job by my former boss regarding this. Me being accused of these allegations were the last straw.
  9. Hi I'm new to this forum, but need advice. I'm in the process of taking my company to an Employment Tribunal, dates have now been finalised. It started when I received a letter in September from them stating that they were suspending me with them looking into gross misconduct that money had been claimed under false taxi receipts by me. I then resigned the following day as I was not going to wait to then be sacked over false allegations and have subsequently taken them to a tribunal for constructive dismissal. They have in the meantime gotten a handwriting expert to investigate the signatures on the "chits" and there seems to be 3 types of signatures. What I am asking advice on is that, if I've not heard from their solicitor (via mine) by now regarding criminal proceedings over this, is there a time limit on how long they have to bring criminal proceedings if any and will a handwriting expert's report stand up in court? I'm at my wits end over this, I've been wrongly accused of something, my reputation has been badly affected, it took me 4 months to get another job and even now I have a job in another field to which I used to as they would not give a reference to any agencies/prospective employers. Any advice greatly appreciated.
