  1. She has just phoned the Yorkshire Bank and spoken to a lady called Lisa Wray (sp?) who the original letter came from, and has demanded the missing enclosures - go Mum!! They are sending them in 1st class tonight. Will post all the details of the letter tomorrow when I pop over to see her, the contact details may be of use to others as I was certain given others experiences that the Yorkshire Bank would be a tough nut to crack!
  2. 586rJKEE4 See my other post - My Mums Charges Bloody hell!!!! Mum has just phoned me, we only sent the letters on the 8th and she has had one back from Citi already. Not got all the details, they have sent some forms for the disclosure and asked for a tenner which is fine. This bandwagons rolling!! Stunned!
  3. 586rJKEE4 See my other post - My Mums Charges Bloody hell!!!! Mum has just phoned me, we only sent the letters on the 8th and she has had one back from the Yorkshire Bank already. Not got the details, basically they have enclosed the statements as a gesture of goodwill, though they weren't actually in the envelope and so she is calling them to send them. Said they don't agree the terms are unfiar, blah blah blah. Stunned! Got to post another, as she has also had a response from Citi!
  4. Tell me about it, I am completely addicted to MSE! Wouldn't wipe my backside on the Daily Mail, but perhaps thinking about it it could be classed as extreme moneysaving
  5. 586rJKEE4 Having watched the various postings on MSE and on here, I have finally convinced my mother that it would be a good idea for her to try and claim back the numerous charges that have seen her in financial difficulty with credit cards over the last who knows how many years She has statements for the last 2 years or so, so we just ned to fill in the gaps. She only seemed convinced when an article appeared in the Daily Mail on Wednesday. Anyway, I have written a DPA letter to Lloyds TSB regarding their Mastercard, so the clock is ticking. It has definately been received as the Track it and Trace on the Royal Mail shows as delivered, so I have done a screen print for our records. ahve also posted in Other Institutions as we have sent letters to Clydesdale (Yorkshire Bank), GE Capital (Frasercard) and Citi Financial (Citi Cards) Wish us luck, I cant wait to get my teeth into it all, and I think once I have shown this website to my Mum at the weekend (complete technophobe) she will have an even better understanding.

Once I have responses from the individual banks (here's hoping!) I shall start individual threads. Thanks
