  1. I have just received two letters from Barnet, one stating i was in the bus lane@ 16.14 and the other at 16.15. According to them they are entitled to issue up to 8 tickets in 5 minutes. What a rip off. I was not driving the vehicle, therefore i will appeal on those grounds, however this is not fair.
  2. Hi Any sort of advice or help is appreciated Argos defaulted my account in 2007 I have no recollection of ever receiving a default notice so wrote Argos a letter asking for the CCA and 'certified copy of the original default notice' I received a letter back with my CCA but no default notice as Argos state 'we are not legally required to keep individual copies of default notices' Is this correct? What would my next steps be? Any advice appreciated Thank you:D Charmaine
  3. Hi I have a problem and would appreciate any help or advice. I opened a 16-18 account in 2004 with Abbey, once I turned 18 they transferred it to a current account, I did not sign any sort of agreement for this neither do I remember giving them consent to transfer my account. Late 2007, my account was -9.00 and abbey continously charged me (every 2 weeks) for being overdrawn until I gave up and refused to respond, I ended up with £250.00 worth of charges which I refused to pay (big mistake). Abbey have defaulted me in 2008 for these charges:mad:. I have sent them the letter asking for the defaults to be removed and to provide me with a 'certified copy of the original default' however all they have sent me is the agreement I signed when I was 17 and no default notice, they have not even sent a covering letter explaining why they could not produce the default notice. I now have problems obtaining credit of any sort. Could someone please help!!! any sort of help or advice is appreciated. Thank you Charmaine
