Obviously BPF were already involved with CT prior to Advent going bust, so have they accutally looked for another training provider for us or just gone with CT for ease? Seems very sus to me.

Hi All, I don't know if this has been mentioned before (sorry if it has), I have just typed in Computeach complaints in search engine and it came up with a thread from CAG (thread called "Computeach or won't they") and the first post that came up was this:- Hi I was mis sold a Computeach course in Jan '09 financed by Barclays Partner Finance. Promises of top tutors & online experts that could get me trained up & back in work in reality turned out to be two badly written books & online support that was down most of the time. Computeach have said they wont refund the £2700!!! paid by Barclays....can somebody help. I notice now that there are a lot of people who have been ripped off by these [problematic]! I haven't paid anything yet but they wont payment before the 24th Jan or it will go up to £5.583 on there 28.9% loan. Help!!!!!!! So BPF provided CT students with funding before Advent went bust!! Is this a coincidence?????

Hi All, Not posted for a while cos we've just moved house. Just wondering if anyone can remember a post ages ago (I've had a quick look but as yet can't find owt) about CT directors leaving to go to Advent as directors then, following the demise of Advent going back to CT? Or have I dreamt it? If anyone wrote it or knows about I would appreciate it if you could let me have the info or where they got the info from. I'm thinking of sending it to FOS if I have proof. Hi All, If anyone is worried about their Credit score due to not paying BPF, I've had a look on a CRA website and you can add notes as to why payments have not been met by you to your Credit report. What is a Notice of Correction? A Notice of Correction is a short (up to 200 words) explanatory note you can add to an entry on your credit report to explain the background to that information. Anyone searching your report in the future will see the Notice of Correction, and they must take account of it when you apply for credit. If you would like to add a Notice of Correction to your credit report, please let us know the exact wording you would like to use. We cannot add a statement that is longer than 200 words or one we think is defamatory, frivolous or unsuitable for publication for some other reason. Hope this helps

Well CT haven't given us any info so they can tell us what they like and then change their minds at the last minute. Plus we've not had a new contract (not that we would sign it). All to fishy to me.

Plus they have kept us hanging on for 8 weeks so we've not been able to find alternative funds to pay BPF in full (we were advised by Advent rep to source other funding to pay BPF because of the high interest) and we can't afford £234 per month which is what BPF are asking for:-x

Hi Bluedo Yes can you post the letter up. I was thinking of writing to BPF asking them to keep the acc frozen as we've not got any course info from CT therefore still not receiving the goods. (They have mention to us about DD not taken). What course did you take with Advent, only asking cos my hubby was doing MCSE with CCNA and I've had a look and search CCNA on CT web and its not there, so if i'm right its not like for like! I'm determined not to pay for this its all gonna happen again with BPF.

Hi Boosh We're in the same boat, we were due to start repaying 26.03.10 but BPF put the account and interest on hold and we got a letter today saying we are in arrears too. Are you going to ask them to keep your acc frozen until further notice?

Hi can anyone help. My hubby should be doing Advents MCSE 2006 with CCNA course, I cant find CCNA on the CT website just MCSE. What is CCNA and should CT offer this along side MCSE? Sorry if I sound thick but IT isn't my chosen subject!!!! Thanks
