  1. That's exactly my point. Are there any rules on that or perhaps someone could point me into right direction? A Web link, etc?
  2. Hi, when I asked this morning for an itemised receipt in my local corner shop, they kindly printed it out but every item was named 'OFF LICENCE'. I bought milk, cheese, bottled water (VAT-able product), chocolate, bread, tomatoes, etc. Yet every single line stated 'off licence' therefore I can't say what amount have I paid for what product, nor I can see whether they have overcharged me on anything or counted twice, in error (there are two items priced identically, I can't remember buying such). The VAT number's missing from it too. I have not quoted it in the shop, just told them it's not helpful, but I'll work it out somehow myself and left the premises. My question is, are there any rules for retailers on those itemised receipts? I've checked gov.uk but couldn't find any answers. It would be really helpful to have it printed correctly. What about returns in such circumstances in case of realising something was out of date when returning back home? The receipt (dot is missing after www as I can't post links due to low amount of posts on forum): www dropbox.com/s/rqcdj8corlhrorr/corner-shop-itemised-receipt.jpg Phil
