  1. no problem, and yes the forum is brilliant i got a lot of good advice.
  2. no not confused mate just adding my own info and opinion.
  3. i never got that email about the £100 a week, i agree that things should be kept in writing and i am definately going to get the agreement in writing before i make any payments, i was just getting really annoyed with them ignoring me i replied to every one of their emails.
  4. yea i heard that they were the same people, needed to face up to it though and hopefully sorted now, will be a big weight off my shoulders
  5. wonga passed me to barker and lowe about a month ago, iv had letters from them demanding payment, i phoned them yesterday and arranged to pay monthly for 12 months which i have been asking them to do for ages by email but they just ignore emails, once i phoned them i sorted it within about 10 minutes
  6. wonga are now saying that i owe them 1200 and they have passed me to barker and howe who are demanding the full amount by 31 march, has anybody dealt with these and could you give me some advice
  7. thanks for the advice, but how can you be sure it's their bank account and what if you pay the loan off and then they say that they never recieved it and and that the account is not theirs?
  8. i want to ignore them but its always in the back of my mind, and the interest just keeps going up.
  9. does anyone have an email address for wonga which they are going to reply from because i keep trying to email them and it just seems like they are ignoring me, they never reply just keep sending letters through the post saying that i need to pay my debt in full now... iv just about given up on qq they keep sending me the same email every time, i am so fed up of this
  10. thanks, im trying to deal with them by email but they are taking no notice and still ringing me at home, i changed my works number on their website before i defaulted so im hoping they cant ring me at work, and i will hold my ground because thats honestly all i can afford.
  11. they have not been rolled over but iv had loans with them before and paid them back but reloaned again because i couldnt afford not to, so really its just like rolling them over, im not going to extend because its just going to be never ending, i just want them off my back im fed up of them ringing my home phone when im at work and other people having to speak to them, i have offered £190 a month for the next 3 months, i think that is reasonable
  12. i have sent an email to QQ saying that i will pay what i owe in 3 monthly installments starting 18th feb, and told them to stop ringing my home phone, i have told them i will not extend the loan anymore. they replied with... 13. i have emailed quick quid and wonga offering to pay back what i can afford, quick quid emailed back saying that they do not offer paying in instalments and wonga didnt even reply just sent a letter saying that i need to pay asap, now wonga have just sent an email saying my account is in serious arears and i now owe £734 and to call them to settle my arrears and get my account back on track. HELP!!!
  14. This is my email for qq which i have not sent yet does it look ok or need anything else?? Dear Quickquid, I am writing to inform you that due to a change in my circumstances i am unable to pay the agreed amount of £80 due on 21 jan and £480 due on 18 feb, however i am able to pay 3 instalments of 18 feb £186.67 18 march £186.67 15 april £186.67 this is on the assumption that there is going to be no more interest added on and that it will be frozen. I think this is a reasonable offer and cannot pay any more than the above, ths is the only way that my loan can be repaid and i cannot afford any more. thankyou, my name i am offering these amounts because iv read on other posts that they give in easier if you offer to pay back in 3 instalments, or should i offer less? i could afford it and around the same to wonga but its going to be tight.
  15. thanks for the reply i will send them letters, they already have my acc number and sort code, could they still take the money even if i cancel my card, and any idea how i can word these letters. thanks
