  1. "just to see if it would be accepted"? wow, they're doing experiments on your account after they've entered into agreement not to take the money? If you have the agreement in writing you could take them to court.
  2. after the 29th Jan payment is taken, you can speak to your bank and ask then to block any payment requests coming from CFO, I think that'll work better than having to change account.
  3. the bank's problem is that it costs them money to make and send you a new card, perhaps that's why they're resisting. But I think you can stop a particular direct debit if that's what the money shop has.
  4. banks are meant to pass on the interest rate but i don't thing there's a legal requirement, so they make excuses to keep those benefits.
  5. I cant believe they let you carry on for 5 months, they should have convert the loan, its costing you a ton in interest!
  6. Makes sense, I made the same mistake a year ago but thankfully nothing serious happened!
  7. The car wasn't road worthy when they sold it to you, unless they explicitly told you that, they're in the wrong. you might win the court case but it would be a lengthy process.
