  1. Sorry, what I meant was that she got in the way of her own car registration. We don't know who she is, but I think this was some kind of [problem] which I think she will be reporting us to the insurance or whatever Should we call our insurance and tell them to expect this or what?
  2. Can anyone advise me on what to do next? Me and my mum want to be safe safe safe
  3. Insurance put up jobs? Another question, should we get in touch with the police or our insurance company? My mum doesn't want her premium going up, she hasn't done anything. Oh and she accused my of driving when I wasn't. What if she goes to the police or insurance company saying that too? I was just a passenger sitting in the back.
  4. So, me and my mum were parked at a dead and road and behind was another lady in her car. My mum started the engine, and she put it in to gear and then a few seconds later the lady got out the car and went crazy. She started to swear, shout and call my mum names and then my mum got out and I did. Once I got out she accused me of driving, and then she asked for my mums details and not mine. I wasn't driving, I don't even have a licence. I asked her for her details if she thinks we have had an accident and I started to give our details (me and mum live in the same house - i wouldve given her name obviously). She took our car's registration but she didn't respond and give us any of her details and when my mum went to fetch her phone to grab the lady's car reg she stood in the way and didn't let her. From then we drove home as nothing could be done. There isn't any damage on our car or hers. What's going to happen?
  5. The witnesses are worrying. They're just the local yobs who hang around the street corner. I have a doubt that they're simply being two faced and are invovled in this [problem]. However, CCTV is there I hope the local shops give it out. If anyone else can give any steps to take please do. How she should go about denying the accident etc. Thank you so much
  6. Hi Guys, My mum was driving the other day and she was pulling out of a road and on to a main road. The road was clear, she took the neccessary precautions to pull out, she went ahead with it. As she was pulling out, a car which WAS quite far instantly speeded up and crashed in to her. The thing is, I've known the person to do things like this on purpous - to claim insurance money, but I can't prove that. It's the newest thing going in Birmingham and it's a shame. The person who did it tried getting away, he had our details. But I took the means to stop him, which were cool with British law, so no problem there. We asked him for his details and he wouldn't give them to us, but he has ours. (We didn't want to break the law). He claims his car IS damaged, but I have pictures that prove it isn't. (I'm guessing that he's gone and damaged it on purpous). Furthemore to this, his number plate did not meet with British Driving Laws, there was too much spacing anad the letters were bolder than normal. We reported this to the Police, they said it's an offence not to give details and they'll be prosecuting him aswell as the false number plate. But of course if it's 'damage' then they cannot get involved. But my mum is innocent, there are also witnesses that saw what happened (more than four) what can we do? It's quite stressful for my mum. Thank you for your replies. As for these illegal cases, can anything be done?
  7. You think so? I mean, contacting Customer Support and standing my ground has worked in the past! Anyone got experience with Next here or any employees? I'll give em a ring once I get home, but anymore ideas?
  8. The want a payment by the 30th of May, during then I have exams, gosh, hassle and stress! I'm leaving the country on 1st June!
  9. I told them that I never ordered the directory and I asked why they sent an invoice of £3.75. Adding on to that, I told them I am still 17 and not 18 which means I don't meet the T&C to order a directory. At the end of the emails I said "I await your reply in urgence". Let's see what comes out of this, never really dealt with Next customer services before, we'll find out today!
  10. Yes, that is correct. But you see, I don't want them chasing me around for something that I don't owe! I mean, I am 18 soon in October, and they'll probably come after me then. I hear that if you do not pay they increase the ammount and can even take you to court? I just sent them an email using the contact form on the website, and it said: I followed this post: Next directory charging £3.75 for a catalogue I didnt ask for. - HotUKDeals Forum- (This post is dated a month ago!)
  11. Hey Consumer dude, I have a free number rather than using the premium number so I don't mind phoning up of course. Sorry, I forgot to mention I don't even have the directory? :S So what can I do? It's pretty annoying Next should confirm before they send stuff and charge people :@!
  12. Hey Guys, I got an invoice today of £3.75 saying I ordered some kind of "Next Directory". Now, I'm pretty amazed at this as I haven't ordered anything, so why are they asking for payment? On their website it says this: Of course, I need to phone up and tell them something, as I do not want to pay the £3.75 and I don't even want the Next Directory! I have found this link: Next: Official Site - Request A Directory Which means anybody can put in details and order it! So, Firstly, I haven't even opened this directory account thing, I'm guessing some idiot has just put in my details and signed up which is pretty stupid as I was asked for no confirmation or anything like that. Second of all, it is addressed to me and I am still 17 (18 in October) so I can't even open an account? The letter/invoice is addressed to me, so what can I do? I guess phoning Next Directory would be a good option? But what would I exactly say?
  13. Well, that is your data, all the information taken from you. You could say pay me £10 for the info you take .
  14. What do you guys recommend? I go after a few months? What if they run out and dey dont sell the phone any mroe?
  15. Hi Cirian75, I appreciate your replies. Yes, my phone is PayAsYouGo, however, what if the fault doesn't show when I take it to the shop? It happens when it wants to
