  1. 2 pints. We must be at exactly the same stage as I received the same letter as you yesterday. Am ignoring as well.
  2. Thanks everyone. The last two have arrived within 5 days of each other so hopefully it won't be too long before they stop altogether.
  3. Sorry, back for more reassurance again. Today received my second piece of correspondence from Debt Recovery Plus. This one entitled Notice of Intended Litigation. Is this their usual thing?
  4. Bit worried having seen the last posting re bailiff/debt collector. I have just received my third letter - this if fom Debt Recovery Plus asking for £128.75 - no explanation as to how this is made up, the last one being for £70. This one asks if I was not the driver for me to let them know who was and says that it is essential I settle this account without delay or contact their offices. If I fail to make a full payment or to make contact with them, it will be passed to their litigation team and legal recovery action may commence. A typical case will be referred to the County Courts for an application for a County Court Judgement. If we are successful with our application, enforcement options will include: An attachment of earnings order. County Court Bailiffs being instructed. Your items being sold at public auction to pay the judgement. It also says you can view a selection of CCJs we have successfully obtained against people who have ignored our correspondence on our website: www.drpl.co.uk. Is the advice still to ignore?
  5. Thanks again for the reassurance. I am determined to do nothing about it most of the time but occasionally it is bothering me. I am going to stick with it though and every time I have a little worry, I read through the threads on this site and it gives me another boost to stand up to them and completely ignore their letters.
  6. Just received a "charge certificate final reminder" telling me that I can now no longer pay the discounted amount and must pay the £70 parking charge. Failure to pay will result in this being forwarded to a debt recovery agency where I may incur additional costs.
  7. I have received the charge certificate today which says that failure to pay the full balance in 28 days will result in the outstanding amount being forwarded to a debt recovery agency. The amount is £70 - £35 if paid within 14 days. Will I get blacklisted if this goes to a debt recovery agency? Is the advice still to ignore? Has anyone been taken to court by these people?:?
  8. Thanks for all your reassurances. Its really encouraging. I will keep you posted of what happens.
  9. Ok I will take your advice but it is a bit scary. How long does it usually take for them to just give up?
  10. My son borrowed my car last night and parked on what he described as an "unraised pavement" at the Merry Hill Centre having driven around for half an hour trying to find a space. UKPC left a Notification of Unauthorised Parking on the windscreen saying the vehicle was causing obstruction. He said that he wasn't obstructing anyone. I don't know what their "charge" will be but is the advice still to ignore them as he was parked where he shouldn't have been?
