  1. Hi Dx, Thanks for your response. The debt originated from American Express. Capquest have claimed different amounts from 268.35, 273.71, 276.39, 284.43, 271.03 and 295.15 for the same account. According to the assignment letter, they obtained it on 03.01.09. I gather from the copy of the statements that the account was closed in Nov 05 and passed on to the collection department. I do not know if this information is useful. Thanks
  2. Hi all, Could some one please advice me on how to go about with the reply I received from CAPQUEST for the CCA I requested. The original Debt was for AM EX and was purchased by CAPQUEST. 20.11.09 sent CCA specifically for copies of the followings: Credit agreement Statement of account Executed deed of assignment[/b]. 25.11.09, I received a letter enclosed with a notice of assignment. They further stated that they have made a request for copies of Statements and Agreement from Amex. 27.11.09 Another letter informing we that my account was on hold for 28 days. If I have any proof of payments or correspondence that would assist with the query, I should forward it to admin dept. to enable them resolve this matter ASAP. Today 02.12.09 received another letter with copies of statements: The letter reads: Further to your recent correspondence. Please find attached copy of document(s) as requested. If you are not currently repaying this account on an agreed arrangement, it is imperative that you deal with this matter immediately by sending your payment directly to: PO Box 390 Fleet Hampshire GU51 2WJ Payment can be made by cheque or postal order ensuring that you quote your reference no. clearly on the reverse, or alternatively you can pay by Direct Debit or credit card by telephoning 0870 084 3530. CapQuest have the facility to set up DD mandates (minimum £5.00) and you would therefore be required to contact us on the above number with your Bank Detail. Payment can also be made to our account: Details provide We have placed your account on hold until 07.12.09, if we do not hear from you by this date; your account will be passed to our collection Dept. Signed Collection Admin. The issue is they have not provided all the information I requested. The last letter seems to suggest that they have provided everything. It seems to purposely avoid mentioning what docs were sent unlike in letter one where they clearly stated what docs they had enclosed and requested for from AMEX. The CCA runs expires on 08.12.09. Could some one please guide me on how best to respond? Thanks.

  8. Hi all? I am still new to the forum and need help. I have quite a few debt problems but I will start with NATWEST LOAN. Can any one help? I took a loan with Natwest some years back but because I ran into some financial difficulties, I could not keep up with repayment. This resulted into Natwest closing my current account but from what I know now, the loan account is still open. About a moth ago I received the loan statement but with a very huge amount outstanding. According to the "statement", the amount of credit available under the agreement was 16,100, outstanding amount now is 36,112, date of First Movement was 29.09.05. Duration or terms of the loan 120 months. As I am facing a lot of problems with debts from banks, credit cards companies and DCA, On receiving this, I decided to respond by requesting for CCA however, I decided not to sign the letter. My letter went out on 19.11.09 and I received a reply dated 22.11.9 today content as below: "We return your letter attached, which we are unable to action at present. Unfortunately we do not hold your signature on record, please take your passport or driving license into a Natwest Branch for them to forward to us at Credit Management Services. Thank you for your assistance in this matter. We look forward to hearing from you." Yours sincerely, (pp) Recovery Manager. The original of my letter was sent back together with the postal order. Can any one please advice??? I am not sure about sending my signature. Will this matter. Thanks for your help. DOT1
