Ok, thanks dx. So as you said before, do nothing. I just can't get my head around doing nothing, constantly thinking about this. Thanks again

Hi, I've spoken with PayPal and asked about setting up a payment plan. They have said this isn't something they would do but in time my account may get passed to a collection agency and I would be able to set up a payment plan with them. I asked how long it would take for my account to be passed to a collection agency and was told there was no set time for this. Does anyone know how long this usually takes? Many thanks

Thanks dx I realise that but just what I read seemed to suggest linking any account accessed using same IP. I do sometimes use a shared device. Sorry I'm thinking too much.

Ok thanks, just read something about them linking accounts by IP addresses.

Hi dx, Will PayPal block the accounts of others in my household who have PayPal accounts?
-
Ok, thank you, nothing will happen. Sorry, just wasn't expecting nothing to be the answer. Thanks again, much appreciated

If I do nothing what actually happens? Sorry I'm just so worried and worked up about it. Thank you

Thanks Honeybee, thanks dx

So do nothing? Sorry I don't mean to go on, it just doesn't seem right. Should I not pay something each month if I can? I will have a read at the PayPal threads this evening. Thanks again

So this means they can't do anything even though the debt is post brexit? Sorry if I'm sounding daft but my head is muddled with it all. Thank you
-
Thank you I've read some other posts re paypal and post/pre brexit. This debt is post brexit but I have had my paypal account since before brexit. Does this make a difference? Thanks again.

They must be able to do something? I can't just leave it owing. Not that I have the money. Should I contact them? I haven't removed or cancelled anything yet. Thanks for your replies and time

Help needed please. I have been really really stupid and I just don’t know what to do. I have gambled away this last week and now have a negative Paypal balance, I am going to owe them thousands and just don’t have the money to pay them. I don’t even know how this happened, well I do my own stupid stupid fault but I just kept thinking I will get it back and all will be fine. I have managed to do so before but not this time. I don’t know how to tell my partner, he is going to be so angry and annoyed with me. I am with myself. I am just about all alone as it is and if he is not there then I don’t know how I will cope. What will Paypal do? I am so scared. Any help/advice would be gratefully received. Thank you CA

Hi I need some advice I’ve got myself in a mess with payday loans. Rolling over and re-loaning to repay the rollover. Anyway at the end of June I have defaulted on just about all. The problem I have is that at the end of May my bank honoured most of the debit card payments/cheques. I am now approx £1,300 over my overdraft. I have 2 cheques which were due to be banked yesterday. They aren’t showing up yet as having come out my account I expect if they are to be honoured they will come out tomorrow. The thing is I don’t know whether I should be contacting my bank and asking them not to honour any more cheques. The problem with this is that I have the overdraft amount due to them plus I have also missed the last 2 months credit card payments to them. I haven’t been in touch and don’t know what to say to them. I have an appointment with my local CAB on Thursday morning to try and sort everything out (I have other creditors some of whom I have made payment arrangements with but the payday loan situation has got me into a real mess. I took the first one out with the intention of repaying but wasn’t able to and so the cycle continued). I wanted to see what CAB advised before contacting the bank but at the same time I don’t want to make things any worse with the bank if cheques keep being paid out or will the bank now just not honour (which is what I hope they will do). I was thinking that I could maybe send a message to them today through internet banking and ask that they don’t honour any more cheques. Anybody any thoughts/advice on what I should do?
