  1. Hi all I have to say that I paid the £29.95 yesterday Following an argument with my wife who is worried about DCA letter. But since reading advice. I contacted Consumer Direct and logged complaint. Was advised to write to the MD of FF requesting my £29.95 back as they are in breach of cntract. This I have done giving the 14 days to respond. Which is 7 more than they give. I will update when I here back. As far as DCA I have informed them thet should go back to FF and not bother me anymore.
  2. Hello yes, almost exactly. I went to my local Gym to give one months notice, was told that there cancellation procedures had changed, and a so called membership agent would contact me. Safe to say they didn,t. When I finaly got to see the correct person, the time had slipped into the following month therfore according to the contract I owed another £29.95. They are denying all knowledge of my first attempt to cancel
  3. Hi all Am i right in assming that all the time I am in Contact with Fitness First disputing a cancellation fee. They cant pass on to a DCA. Because they Have. I received a letter from C.A.R.S DCA on the 16 November 2009 for outstanding balance of £54.95 this includes £25 above what Fitness First are asking for. I later recieved a letter from Fitness First on the 17 November 2009 responding to my latest letter to themselves on the 05 November 2009, requesting the orignal £29.95 which i still dispute.
