Hi I got my CRB about 3 months after this incident and it did not show. However I am unsure how widely there databases would be checked by potential employers - I would assume most employers go by your CRB. I know the CRB was a big worry for me so hope this puts your mind at rest abit.

Hi, I have recently found myself in a similar case. I paided the fine of R110, but I'm worried and having sleepless nights! Police did show at boots (after waiting more than an hour) they ran checks (Name and Address) on me and when nothing came up on record I was free to go. I must say. . . the police where very friendly and even helpful, RLP guy was NOT! Will this incident show on my CRB? I'm working as admin for a Legal firm and am very worried this will affect my Job.
