welcome Fixed sum loan agreement...***WON***

can we all join in? -
Yes I would put the wind up where the sun don't shine it's worth the stamp to shut them Amissah doesn't like it so he then drops himself in the do-do by making threats can't find any record of them ever taking court action. I have be reliably informed 99% of their portfolio is stat barred as I said they only get the dregs left by others slightly higher in the pond.

Hi, DX not spread out just laid back:) -
Reading your post more closely it does seem this is stat barred. Write to numbnuts Ltd and tell them it is stating they HAVE to Prove it is not. I done this for someone else and they have never contacted again over 18 months. Just out interest and for info this mob are being investigated by a newspaper financial columnist.

CCA them address letter to Emanuel Amissah who is the boss most letters are signed by Jason Evans,Julia Edwards, some people believe all 3 are the same person. Insist on NO phone calls or home visits. Do you think the debt is stat barred?
-
Merit Farce and Mac Hall are the same Ruthbridge is the life at the very deepest part of the pond. Deny all do not phone them.who was the the letter signed by and when was the default notified if at all?

I would like to thank everyone who has posted about Lowell since I started to use the Forums I've had quite some success in in beating this appalling bunch. On 3 occasions since Oct 09 they have backed down and written off matters and removed defaults the reason they give is that that they have TAKEN A COMMERCIAL DECISION NOT PURSUE and in the circumstances I wrote them ''suggesting politely'' they should not sell, assign or share the data held, other wise I would advise any future owner of the alleged debts that Lowell had failed to recover anything. Keep at it folks you can bring them down.;)

I had a similar experience a few years back and refinanced with Welcome missed a couple of payments and defaulted, they took me to court and much to the amusement of the district judge they turned up with an agreement copy without it being signed by the Welcome muppet then asked the DJ to allow reversion to the original agreement he would have none of that and told them their fortune. Result damages and kept the car! -
Connaught collections/1st Credit/Judge & Priestly
brigjacj replied to brigjacj's topic in Debt Collection Agencies
Thanks for that I am already in touch with my MP over other DCA matters I wiil put together the type of letter you suggest UF. I just can't believe how the idiots can carry on producing the crap received today and hope to succeed in getting money, unless they are solely relying on ignorance and intimidation. perhaps the new government should be ''encouraged'' to take a closer look at this industry as they are using some of the worst offenders to collect benefit over payments etc. -
