  1. Hi all, I am in a Debt Program, with agreed payments to all my creditors. Suddenly out of the blue one of them takes out a charging order on my property (no missed payments or anything) thought this wast possible. Anyone know the legals? dave
  2. Hi All, I am sending my SAR off tommorow 09/11/09 recorded encl £10 40 days to reply dave
  3. Hi all, My debt with MBNA (on agreed token payments) was passed from Transcom to Arrow Global and then being delt with by Copes Solicitors. Dec 2007 they went for CCJ and obtained judgement, i continued paying the same token payments. October 2009 an Interim Charging order was aplied for, this has been adjourned until 28th Nov 2009. I have sent an Objection to The Charging Order letter to The County Court and Copes. I have now recieved a B136(CO) notice of application from Land registry with regards to the forthcoming hearing. Obviously, apart from the fact that Arrow are turning an unsecured debt into a secured debt, does anyone think that I have any chance of getting this dismissed? any comments would be gratefully recieved dave

  10. hi martin, the origional debt is for a service contract on a printer.this can be traced back. the Bailiffs firm were from 'Bailiffs Sherffs Ofice' Croydon the CC was for £700 the rest charges and expenses dave
  11. Bailiffs attended a retail shop with a demand backed up by a CC judgement. The alleged debt of £300 was turned into a £1700 demand, and Bailiffs said they will lock shop door, which they did until payment was made. The debt was in the name of the former owner of the shop, with similar name. They didnt want to hear this, stating, if payment not made they will stay all in shop (locked) at £60 per hour. Shopkeeper paid half to get them to unlock the door, and sent someone to get rest of money. Then when paid the bailiffs left. Now Shop keeper wants to get the judgement set aside, and get his money back. Any comments please for a very harrassed shop keeper, and guidance dave
  12. hy H it is a free car park with a 2hour limit, no return for 4 hrs. over stayed about 1 hour the reason i have picked up multiple tickets is that i am involved in a retail business adjacent to the car park, and go in and out during the day. then you get involved and lose time can i actually defend these tickets on the grounds of the driver at the time was not the owner of the vehicle? dave
  13. Hi H, a contravantion H is: 'the vehicle was parked in excess of the maximum permitted time' dave
  14. cheers sweeny, now i need a knowledgable someone to take a look at the ticket and confirm that it is unenforcible. the Parking assoc told me that there is a spelling mistake, no grid ref for the parking bay, the wrong act quoted at the top, the ticket issuer not being in uniform? any comments would be appreciated, plus some suggestions for a letter to challenge Dave
  15. Hi All, I have aquirred several tickets from a supermarket car park, that have been issued by a local authority. I called The British Parking Association and they asked me to scan a ticket. They told me there were at least 5 errors in the ticket and it was unenforcable I now need to write to the local authority and challenge these tickets, and would seek advice on how to word the letter. any comments? i have attached the ticket with reg no and ticket no deleted. dave
  16. Thanks kip i'll go to parking and do just that, and keep you posted dave
