  1. Hi All, What a fantastic site! It's a little bewildering to me as a newbie but after a good hour's digging, I've seen reference to, but no specifics on my situation. I am putting myself through university, full time on my own penny, raised through part time jobs and a lump sum in savings from selling a valuable car that I restored myself during happier times. I am servicing two debts, one with Lowell, one with Fenton Cooper - both at a few quid either side of £50/month. I have no issue with Lowell (amazing, I know!) Fenton Cooper are a pain in the ar$e - no matter how many times I tell them that my situation is likely to remain unchanged for the 3 year duration of my degree, they insist on ringing me every 3 months to discuss my arrangement and to see if I can afford more etc etc. Most recently this included a request to run through my income and expenditure. The thing is, I have a very low income (ie probably unbelievably low), I basically live off my girlfriend, and pay my fees and service my debts thanks to my savings - savings I would prefer not to disclose because they really are there for a very good reason, and have to last me for at least another 2 years. Exactly how much information are they entitled to? and is £50/month (paid pro-actively by me via BACS - I dont like direct debits!) a reasonable sum on a debt of around £7k? Does their regular (every 3 months) pestering for updated information constitute harrassment? I suspect this very long quesiton has a very short answer, but I really appreciate any help and all the experts who put their time into this site. I'll be sending off a CCA request veeeery soon
