  1. So what do you suggest? Do I send another letter stating I would like a signed credit agreement or stop paying risk my credit rating and hope that they do not have a signed agreement?
  2. Hiya, Thanks for your reply. My signature is not on the agreement they sent, nor any signatures from any of the Barclays staff. Ive never missed any payments nor have I received any charges during the loan. Many Thanks
  3. Many Thanks for your reply, Ive had a look through but Im not that great at what all the jargon means, could anyone take a look for me?
  4. Many thanks for your reply, I am just rescanning the doc as a word doc then I should be able to edit and upload with any chance. I hope it is good news as you mentioned, fingers crossed!!!
  5. Hi All, Ive just received a copy of my loan agreement from Barclays and need some advise on what to do next. I have attached the agreement, but they are not in the correct order and there are duplicates of pages, Ive attached them as I have received them!!! With the agreement there is a covering letter stating: ' We are pleased to provide you with a copy of your credit agreement and a financial statement. Sections 77 & 78 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 (as amended) do not require Barclays Bank to provide you with a signed original form of the credit agreement and in accordance with the Act it is not the policy of Barclays Bank to provide this'. Is the above statement correct? What else do I need to check within the agreement? Many Thanks
  6. I now have the reply from Barclays, but for some reason when I scan it into my computer I cannot open it with any other program to edit my details out!!! Can any one help please? I have it ready to email. Thanks

  8. Hi All, Im just getting round to sorting this. Barclays owns one of the debts, do I address it to Head Office or do you guys have a better address? Thanks
  9. Thanks for your replies. Ive been in contact with Credit Issues and they are sending a refund of monies paid to them. Now lets start the ball rolling!!! Im going to need all the help I can get !!! I have 2 credit agreements that Im going to test the water on. Northern Rock and Barclays! So 1st things 1st do I send off a £1 standing order not signed with covering letter!?
  10. Hi All, I hope I have posted in correct section. I have been using Credit Issues Limited to see if they can check if my loan with Northern Rock is unenforceable. They have been looking into this since Sept 2008. Northern Rock started to play fair when asked for info but then started to be awkward when approached about the unenforceable agreement. The person I was dealing with at Credit Issues started to negotiate with Northern Rock about writing off 75% of the remainder of the loan for which Northern Rock apparently agreed to verbally. Then my contact left Crdeit Issues. I chased them several times and I have just received a letter stating that there is nothing else they can do and have passed onto a 3rd party company (forget who). My contact at Credit Issues stated that they were proceeding along the route of the rate stated is not what they are charging. Do you think I should try to do this myself or do you think there is nothing else I can do. Advise would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks

  12. Do you feel that I have a strong complaint or do you feel that I will be wasting my time??
  13. Yes, the guy who put the application together has stated he would provide the info I needed.
  14. Many Thanks for your reply. Whilst I was still at Barclays I spoke with HR who told me that this was a breach of my data protection, as I was applying as a customer not as an employee. However, I was not part of the union but did speak with a few people who had been in the bank for many many years who said that the same as HR. Please advice on what I should do next. Many Thanks

    Credit Issues Ltd

Hi All, I am currently using Credit Issues for my Northern Rock loan to see if its unenforceable which has been on going for 13 months now. Credit Issues charged me £500 for 1st agreement and then £150 for any others. My question is this, I have a Barclays agreement that I wish to look at, shall I action this myself or pay the £150 for Credit Issues to action? Many Thanks
  16. Hi All, Whilst working for Barclays I applied for a Business Loan through Barclays to potentially buy a business. The loan was declined due to who I was (an employee) although the application mentioned it should be looked as any other customer application. My biggest complaint was the fact that the application stated that confidentiality was key as I worked on the business department, and I feel that this was not kept to. One of the head sanctioners on the lending dept rang my boss and smugly said that I was going to be leaving his team. The part that annoyed me is that he only did this as he had a problem with this boss and wanted to get one over on him. I had not fully committed to buy the business at this point but i felt let down that this happened and was questioned alot more about my actions and it made my working life difficult, in the end I had no choice other than to leave. My question is would you complain and seek compensation due to my data protection being breached? Thanks for reading.
  17. That sounds correct. I have just found out the number and lines are with Unicom. There is also 1 other line that has a fax and broadband on it, thats with opel and the broadband is with Demon. I am very confused. Ive spoken with gradwell, they cannot port the numbers Help help Help
  18. Hi All, Ive just purchased a business that uses 4 lines on the 1 number. The previous owner pays approx £55 for the lines then sort of pay as you go with the calls etc. He has no voicemail facility or transfer facility. The overall bill comes to approx £120 per month. This does not include internet or fax line. Can anyone advice if there is a cheaper way of doing this? Many Thanks
  19. Ive just left the Bank with the big blue bird. Anyway, after being pushed for sales, sales, sales but being promoted as a customer service positon I decided to drop the bomb shell at the time of being in the top 10 in the country. Needless to say I actually sold products and services to people who needed them but the amount of false selling that goes on is unbelieveable. My lending target for last year was £1m by the end of Jan £3m, end of Feb £7.5m. How the hell was people going to hit this in a middle of a recession? Again lots of made up applications (guessing ). It got to the stage where I thought enough was enough, ive now moved onto to something new but I am planning on trying to prove my loan with them in unenforceable and planning on taking legal advice on breech of my data confidentality. I wont bore you with anything else but there is so much more I could tell. Thanks for letting me get this of my chest.
  20. Business Development Manager.
  21. Many thanks for your replies. I have just resigned from Barclays and realise it may take time but if it does not arrive then thats good news isnt it? The company who is dealing with my northern rock agreement said that Barclays tend to charge a different rate to what they quote which is generally what alot of people are succeeding on.
  22. Hi All, Please let me start by apologising. You have probably seen this request millions of times!!! I am currently paying a company to see if I can write off my Loan with Northern Rock, which has taken a year so far. However, help and advise is needed on my Loan agreement with Barclays. I want to go through seeing if this is unenforceable as it is pre 2007. Please please please could someone give me a stage by stage guide. Whats the 1st thing I need to send? Many thanks and I really do apologise.
