...been with sky for about 2 years, have had phone/broadband/sky+ for that amount of time. but on friday just gone i decided to move to virgin with the same package (tv/phone/BB) and asked them to keep my same phone number. everything fine so far. called sky to cancel and this where the issue lies! because i asked virgin to keep my number, virgin have put some kind of lock on the phone line and sky said they cant cancel my account! why i dont know? The woman on the phone also told me before this that it would take 31 days to cancel my TV/BB but my phone was instant! odd considering the phone is the only thing i get free from sky! Now surely sky cant say i cant give my 31 days notice until i have transfered to virgin can they? i was being adament with the woman and said "no i am giving you 31 days notice from now!" any help/advise would be good cheers
