  1. I know of a few cases with the FOS now about Buy As You View . Mine being one of them
  2. Please email trading.standards@blaenau-gwent.gov.uk with all complaints about this dodgy company ,the more the better as they need looking into .. Facebook group ,interesting !!! . to quote from an ex employee ... I used to work for BAYV, I was sacked after finding out that my line manager was signing customer agreements without their knowledge(fraud)they said I was sacked because I lost £20(which was found) I took them to tribunal and won my case. yet the line manager is still working for them. Work that one out!!!!!
  3. Contact the ICO ( Information Commissioners Office ) For any breach of data protection Data Protection and Freedom of Information Advice - Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)
  4. I am assuming you mean the address of the customer is wrong ? if so Surely if wrong details are on agreement the agreement would become unenforceable ,contact the office of fair trading ,as I did and lodge a complaint on the email address below ,I scanned relevant documentation to them 2 . . enquiries@oft.gsi.gov.uk Also its clear to me now that the Financial Ombudsman Services cant take on miss -selling of their rip off warranty ,and the customers being pressurised into taking it out etc ,but you can submit a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman services for unfair credit agreements etc .
  5. They have to supply the information by law . If not contact the ICO (Information Commissioners Office ) Complaints - Access to Information and Personal Information Rights - Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)
  6. Request what is known as a Subject access request off them ,this will include everything the company holds on you ,Offer them the statutory £10 fee How to access information - Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)
  7. Does sound rather odd ,do they now send statements out to customers to include payments made and balances owing ?

  9. ummmm ,correct me if I am wrong ,but surely hire purchase agreements baring signatures not being the customers regardless of when they were taken out ,yet customers only became aware of these recently after applying for a subject access request is serious enough to look into . However BAYV shunned the letters .Yes ,myself and other customers went through the so called proper channels ,for what ????? to be shunned !!!!!
  10. Totally agree with you . I believed that 2 people ,1 including myself who are in possession of hp agreements which bare 'alledged forged 'signatures on them ,of which have been brought to the attention of The Chief Executive himself ( Graham Clarke ) Regional Director ( Chris Webb ) and Chairman (Adrian Hill ) Have all ignored these concerns of signatures on agreements ,fact remains they do not care about their customers ,or complaints raised ,yet come onto these message boards stating to contact Buy As You View ,its even so that Graham Clarke agreed a meeting with a group of customers ,then declined and pulled out . 11. This agreement has customer signature blanked out ,however company signature part is not ,there is no signature there http://i983.photobucket.com/albums/ae313/w3lshfemale/img010.jpg
  12. Also with regards to paragraph 3 above ,a complaint was submitted not only by myself ,but of another person ,both of us having hire purchase agreements which bare 'alledged forged ' signatures ,yet not 1 of us recieved a reply about our complaint back from top managerial of Buy As You View to whom the complaints were submitted

  14. Here are more agreements taken out with Buy As You View ,baring in mind the signatures that are there are 'allegedly forged ',the date of birth of customer is wrong ,and there is no signature or date of or on behalf of owners documents :: img010.jpg picture by nikkijs68red - Photobucket img011.jpg picture by nikkijs68red - Photobucket
  15. Hi Lefty As Buy As You View are not regualted by the FSA ,or have not agreed voluntarily to be covered by the Financial Ombudsman Service ( FOS ) or services provided by businesses that are licensed by the Office Of Fair Trading (OFT ) for consumer credit purposes .Of course Graham Clarke ,chief executive ,and regional director Chris Webb would of known this when a complaint was sent with regards to copies of hire purchase agreements sent onto me and other customers after we requested them to make a complaint about miss selling of warranty . Upon receipt of hire purchase agreements there was found to be 3 agreements with signatures on that are not that of mine or the customers . Graham Clarke and Chris Webb turned a blind eye to these complaints ,.and did not even acknowledge the complaints . Buy As You View are regualted by the CCTA ( consumer credit trade association ) Even though these agreements were taken out in 2002 ,they were over 36 months ,but as Buy As You View use a modifying agreement formula on new goods purchased ,bringing the outstanding balance of the original agreement over to the modified agreement ,then adding interest again on the balance outstanding from previous agreement and interest on the new balance .These agreements run over 3 years. Yet I am amazed and confused how the CCTA ,the FOS ,and the OFT have done or cant do anything with these complaints . No wonder Buy As You View are getting away with so much ,and carrying on treating customers as they do . Surely there has got to be someway of taking action against this company for unenforceable agreements which have been modified .
