Kind Regards Frankie CFO Collections Team Can anyone suggest how I can play this with CFO so they refund me urgently?

  4. No problem thank you very much for your help you cleared up some questions I had
  5. I will contact them today and ask about advertising the property myself. I am currently with a debt management company. If I wish to move out the property and I need to continue to pay my £275 (half the rent) could this be added onto there so I can afford rent on another property? Sorry for all the questions.. as you can imagine this is so confusing for a young independant female.
  6. Thank You for your response Are they able to re-advertise the property at £595 if I am currenlty paying £550 ?
  7. Hi all I have signed up for a 12 month joint tenancy with my partner during January 2012. Since singing the agreement we have gone our seperate ways and he is no longer relocating to live in the property with me. We have communicated with the letting agency and paid to re-advertise the property. I need some advice on how I can get out the property asap as I need to look for affordable alternative accomodation with my local council. Since moving in the property we have came across the following issues with the landlord/letting agency : - They refused to let me decorate the property (even though it was the same colours as they had just to freshen the place up) - They have readvertised the property and sent me no receipt of the costs and taken it from my bond - It took them over 1 week to re-advertise the property - They are letting the property for £550 to me and have readvertised the property at £595 so this will mke it more difficult to get tenants attracted to the property - I asked for permisson for 2 weeks to see if I could get a pet dog to live in the property now I am a young female living alone. They kept replying we will let you know tomorrow! - The inventory was really poor and basic - I have sent them pics of problems I have found in the property to prove I didnt cause any of the damage. I am still waiting for an updated inventory as I have not signed the orginal yet. - I asked for a second copy of the tenancy agreement as my expartner has the original. Still awaiting a response - even though I have now managed to get a copy of my ex. - I informed the letting agency my phone was broke so they need to communicate via email. Still trying to leave voicemails on my broken phone. I am really dissapointed with the company as I feel once you are in the property they dont care about you as long as you paying the rent. Can anyone please advise how I could get out of this agreement as soon as possible as I have been trying to speak to my local citizen advice centre however they are really difficult to get in touch with to make an appointment. Any little bit of info will be a big help Thank You Emma
  8. Can you please PM me your email address to discuss further Dx ..thanks gibbo
  9. Thanks for that advice I will phone the bank tonight and hopefully they will refund. I really wouldnt no where to start if i didnt use a debt management company as I know how aggressive these companies can be Vincent Bond are charging £20 a month for them to deal with my payday loan providers. I feel i cant negotiate with the payday loan companies as they wont accept any resonable payment plan I offer.
  10. I have recently passed all my debts to Vincent Bond (debt management company) They are in talks with my payday loan providers and hopefully should be agreeing to a payment plan soon. I am receiving letters threatening home collections etc and harrassing calls and Vincent Bond are being excellent providing me with advice on how to deal with this. However, In between changing accounts I have noticed that two payday loan providers have taken two payments of £125.00 and £129.00 from my account today before I could close the account on time. Is there anyway of getting these payments back if I report them as not agreed to my bank as I now have £20 to last me all month and do not want to resolve in applying for another payday loan!! Thank You Gibbo
  11. does anyone have the email address for mckenzie hall?
  12. My advice is be patient until a collections manager tries to get in touch.. dont feel pressured or worried about repaying the loan yet.. just try enjoy your own money! I had sleepless nights wondering whats going to happen next but I stook to my guns and kept sending email after email with the payment plan. A collections manager call Alan sent me an email saying he would help me set up a payment plan. As soon as I called Alan he was very understanding and we set up a payment plan over 7 months. I am also able to pay via standing order so they have no access to my bank account at all.. once the payment plan is set up ... STICK TO IT!! .. your account will soon go down with no more calls from the company. Hope this helps!
  13. i have not had any phone calls from them "touch wood" just letters as i dont think they have ever had my phone number... they are very reluctanct to set up a payment plan and when i did try and phone once the person on the other end of the phone didnt have a clue what i was talkin about! .. wish they would accept my payment plan then all my payday loans should be clear by march 2010.... we can all wish!!
  14. How did you agree a payment plan with them I currently owe £604 and they wont listen
  15. Have you dealt with the FOS before? will they be able to stop him making these calls?
