  1. Well it just did happen, as soon as I mentioned the ombudsmen they said I was in the right and gave me it all back
  2. Hi, On 4th June I made a large transfer to pay off my mortgage to the halifax. The sum I transferred was the sum I was told from one of their advisors. then logged onto my account a few days later to see my balance was reading around negative £1900. immediately phoned up the advisor who told me I had transferred too much. didn't understand as this was the amount I was told by the original adviser. obviously happily accepted this and was told the money would be transferred back to me within 10 days. 10 days passed and no money was in the account again I phoned up to explain the situation and was again told (by a different adviser) that everything was ok and it sometimes could take up to 15 days. today (20/06) I phoned up to check what was going on, only to be told I had infact made the correct payment and I wouldn't be receiving any money back. As you can imagine having been told by two separate advisors that I would be receiving the money this came as a huge shock to me, especially since I had just paid for a family holiday with the money I was told id be getting back!! this leaves me £1800 out of pocket!! I raised an initial complaint and after some apologising I was offered £300. What about the rest of the money that I have already spent which leaves me out of pocket! Am I entitled to get all this money back? The phone calls are all recorded they told me so I have proof.

  7. Hello, Ive had an ongoing ticket problem for over a year now, it originated from Central Ticketing issuing me with a £30 parking fine which i ignored from advice on these forums. 8. Hello, Ive have an ongoing parking fine problem with these guys for over a year now. It originated from Cental Ticketing issuing me with a £60 fine which i have ignored following advice on these forums. I am getting phone calls weekly now from White Solicitors, any advice on how i can get them to stop? Something i can say to them over the phone? The letters have stopped just not the phone calls. Thanks for any advice.
  9. Hi, These people keep leaving messages on my phone for me to call them back regarding a ticket i got from Central Ticketing a good while back. I have been ignoring all letters like i was told on this forum. Will they ever stop calling, should i phone them back? I presume this wont get taken futher... ie me going to court will it? Thanks
  10. Hi. Months ago i got a parking ticket from central ticketing. I replied to them saying i would not be paying as id parked there for years(this was before i found this site and found out not to initiate contact!) they have sent me several letters but now i have a voicemail from a debt agency (roxborough or something it sounded like) saying that Central Ticketing have now passed the issue onto us. Are they just trying to scare me or should i actually pay the fine? Thanks
  11. ok thanks for that feel better about it! I just needed to check as the photo made me worry slightly.
  12. Hi everyone, After reading about this forum I am gathering that Central Ticketing is a [problem]. I received a ticket for parking in a flat carpark outwith a bay (i'd been doing this for years, in nobodys way just parked beside a barrier which loads of cars used to do) I was obviously shocked to get this as like i said i'd been parking there for ages. I appealed against the letter (before finding this site!) which got rejected. I have since had 2 letters, one with a photograph of my car parked there stating I have to pay them or i'll be taken to court etc. I haven't replied to them since appealing and don't intend to. Will they go away or because they have a photo will I have to pay? Thanks very much for any assistance.
