  1. I know, I don't know what to spend it on yet though
  2. I spoke to them and it is because of charges refunded I have settled for £1700 woohoo!!! I am so pleased
  3. Also what I was wondering, should I agree with them that I am only owed £1700 or should I go for the whole lot that I thought in the first place? Thanks a lot
  4. Ok thanks, they did say, however, that the money would be credited to my account though
  5. I heard today from the BOS/Halifax that they are offering me £853 in returned bank charges. I did originally claim for £2500 though. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do now please? They told me today that my calcualtions were wrong and it was only £1700 that I should be claiming for. Thanks a lot for all your help in advance
  6. Thanks a lot. I might call them and ask them to reevaluate this first though I am scared about going to court!
  7. The last letter that I sent said I refer to default charges applied to my account amounting to £2207 plus £361.25interest, which I have requested you pay back. I wrote to you on 29th March 2007, making the original request for a payment in settlement of my claim. As I have not received a satisfactory response, I am writing to inform you I intend to claim the full amount claimed together with interest up to the date of judgment and court fees in the proceedings through the county court. This is based on the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations, as I believe these default charges are unfair and not proportionate to your costs, and therefore the court will rule in my favour. I have attached a full schedule of the charges and interest with this document. I look forward to a full response to this letter within 14 days, otherwise I will commence court proceedings to reclaim my money.
  8. Does that mean the court forms etc? Sorry for being so stupid over this!
  9. I got a letter this morning declining my claim What should I do now, should I fill in the court forms? Thanks a lot

  12. I sent off my 2nd letter on the 3rd May, I stated that I wanted a reply by the 2 weeks. They just keep fobbing me off saying that they have until 12th June to reply. What should I do now? Thanks a lot
  13. I am being a bit slow here, but where do I get the FAQ's from? Thanks
  14. I have been charged a lot of money by them over the years, can you tell me what the best thing to do is? Thanks
