  1. Take it there's no way to force them to remove it then? Ah well, thanks anyway
  2. It's working out as £210 they owe me - but I've ran into a slight problem as far as my credit file shows. No defaults are showing, but Experian's credit checker is showing this - In last 26 months, number of status 1-2 is: 3 number of status 3+ is: 4 Can someone advise (as quickly as possible, please?) if it's possible to get Nationwide to remove these from my file? Thank you a million, Cloud
  3. I thought Moneyclaim wasn't accessible to residents of Scotland?
  4. Hi all, Still a bit unsure about this. Basically, I'm chasing the Nationwide for £300-ish. I'm in Aberdeen, Scotland. Do I chase the Nationwide through the English or Scottish small claims court? Cheers, Cloud
  5. Hi all, I'm just in the starting stages of my claim - I'm just putting together the actual amount levied in charges. From what I can tell so far, it's looking to be about £300 - so not a lot of money, but enough to treat the girlfriend with. Annoyingly, I do have one problem. I'm going to be on the Isle of Arran all summer - but I live in Aberdeen normally. Simply put, it's probably a 5 hour journey each way - so - can someone else file the inevitable small claims on my behalf, or do I have to do it in person? All the best, Cloud
  6. Okay, I apologise for posting this, but I'm a bit rushed and don't have much time to persue the forum in depth at the moment. Anyway, a few questions - Nationwide removed my £250 overdraft last year, then proceeded to sting me for £20 each month that I was overdrawn without authorisation. I'm guessing, so far, I must have paid in a significant amount to the Nationwide to try and clear the debt - but due to the way I receive money, the unpaid fees have built up. Stupidity on my part, yes - but I simply haven't had the time or ability to clear the charges off. To explain - Month 1 (Overdraft £250) Balance -£240 Month 2 (Overdraft £0) Balance -£260 Month 3 (Overdraft £0) Balance £-180 And so on - for the last 18 months or so, it's hovered around the -£50 mark because of the charges levied against the account against money paid in to try and stop it. All I'm asking is this really - when I claim back the unfair charges, what's going to happen with my account? I'm happy for the account to be closed down - but will they want the £50 repaying, or will all unfair charges be credited back to the account before they close the account down? Edit : another question. When claiming back, do I simply claim back for all the charges for going over my overdraft? I know you can claim for the interest charges too - but simply put, I don't have the time to work it all out. It'll be easy enough to go over past statements and pick out all the £20 charges, though. Thank you, Cloud.
