this site has gone very quiet is everyone behaving lately

how come none of us have to have medicals all the time then,i have been done twice and got my licence back about a month ago with no mention of any more medicals,why do you have to keep having them.

i dont understand how they can do that so next time what 6 years, i would look into that or get a solicitor on it

hello mate i wouldnt panick just yet not if you have a year to go,but the recomended obstainance of alcohol is three months for a heavy drinker,but as for most of us on here give it a bit extra.4,5 months just to make sure,also take milk thistle liquid form its 1mil 3 times a day hope this helps

yes im glad its all over but still got 4 weeks to go til my ban is up and its draging like hell,cant wait to jump in my car,have you had any insurance quotes yet

that sounds about right totenham-linda they dont rush i waited 3 weeks from my medical as well.

all i got threw the post was my licence there was no letter or test result did you get anything with yours

now the fun begins car insurance,but i have 5 weeks to save some pennys lol

you will be okay as long as you have obstained of alcohol for long enough you should have no worrys,i stayed of the booze for 4 months and i think brum was 5 months.

i think the way they work it is if you pass you will recieve your licence threw the post and i suppose if you fail they will let you know

no results just got my licence threw the post with no letter,i dont think you get results linda

they do keep you waiting but my ban aint up til the 19th june anyway so they aint going to rush.

same brum no 1 i phoned yesterday i got exactly the same they told me they recieved the results 0n the 29th of may but wouldnt say anything else apart from when they have a look at them i will hear by post keep you in limbo or what 3 weeks now and nothing:confused:

same they give you a load of bull on the phone but take your money quick enough,im going to ring again tomorrow see if they can put me out of my misery,they did say to me that if i dont hear by the time my ban is up i would be covered to drive from that date,yer right i aint driving til my licence is in my hand,will keep you informed

hello brum no 1 still aint heard anything from dvla coming up 3 weeks tuesday, i have phoned a few times but they said they aint got no details on screen yet,how about you mate have you heard anything yet

well i phoned dvla and they reckon 2 weeks,they will let us know were there good and ready,but my ban aint up til the 19th july so who knows?good luck anyway brum if i hear i will let you know.

hello brum been for my medical no questions about milk thistle or any suppliments so okay there,about ten questions all about drink and drugs do you or dont you basically,check height weight eye sight, reflexes,hearing, blood test and urine paid £96 quid waited about 20 min medical took about 25 min,hope this helps good luck for tomorrow.jay.01438
