  1. Many thanks again. I did check all last addresses against trustline and nothing showed. I'm going to apply for a credit check in writing but I'm worried that it may make me more "traceable" if I also use my current address. Is that the case or am I worrying about nothing thanks
  2. Well I'm confused to say the least. I have checked on the site you gave and no ccj showing? Does this help my situation at all please. Thanks again for looking
  3. Thanks very much for the info . I'll do that and post again
  4. Hi and thanks for looking. I got in to financial difficulty just over 8 years ago and handed my car back to Santander . Loan secured on the vehicle. At the same time I moved (also due to my financial difficulty) I havent had any contact within the 8 years regarding this but have had a rep from Bluestone visit a friends house last week looking for me. They didnt aknowledge me but where left a card by the rep. I dont have any paperwork to hand and after a read of the forums assumed as it was 8 years ago this was unenforceable. When I last checked my credit file there was a ccj attached approx 3 years ago related to this Any help much appreciated
  5. My friend has recieved a Notice of Warrant of Execution for a CCJ in place against a man she used to live with. Wescot arent the people I had he agreement with. And its taked approx 6 weeks for the cca? Many thanks
  16. Hi all and thanks again. I sent the second letter as supersnoopers post to Wescot and got a reply on Friday saying the accounts on hold etc. Is this Wescot done? Or do I need to follow up / Thanks Drhunt
  17. I'm just confused as Wescot have never responded to the cca request, Creation have and they returned the postal order made payable to wescot for my cca request so they have never cashed the fee as is in the letter. So Ive not paid technically
  18. I would second that advice. Do not talk to them on the phone. My experience was that they will bully and harras you and in my experience lie to you to get what they want.
  19. Thanks for your fast response. Do I send it to Wescot or to Creation? and do I re-send a £1 postal order
  20. Wescot got in touch with the wife regarding a debt with Creation finance for approx £800 I read the excellent advice of the forum and sent Wescot a DCA request dated the 16th Apil including my £1 postal order I've recieved a letter from Creation today Dear DrHunts Mrs Thank you for your letter dated 16th April 2009 which had originally been sent to Wescot Credit Services Ltd. This letter was received in the Data Protection Department on the 29th April 2009 We will be more than happy to supply you with the information that you requested. However, in the accordance with the consumer credit act, we will require a statutory fee of £1.00 to enable us to proceed with this request. This should be in the form of a cheque or postal order and should be made payable to Creation Financial Services. We have returned the original Postal Order that you have sent which has been made payable to Wescot Credit Services I have enclosed a business reply envelope for your convenience. If you have any further queries regarding this, pleas do not hesitate to write to the Data Protection Department at the above address Yours Bla bla What should I do next please? My understanding was that it was Wescots responsibility to deal with the CCA request within the time limits. Thanks in advance
