1. Hi I received a PCN the other day for parking in a residents only zone in Bury, Greater Manchester BL9 0RS. I had no idea that it's a resident only zone as there were no signs or marking on the road that I parked. There was a sign two streets away as you enter that area that said residents only parking, but I didn't see that sign as it is obscured and angled in such a way that from the direction that I came from you just couldn't see it properly - as shown in the attached photos. I emailed them all this info to NSL but they rejected my appeal and said I can appeal further if I want but if the outcome isn't good and before the 14 days then the £35 is going to become £70. Do you think it is worth appealing further or am I just being hopeful? Thanks
2. Thanks a lot people. I'll write to them today and send it recorded delivery and explain that this person has never lived here. Hopefully this should sort it out.
3. OK flyingdoc, should I just write or fax to them anonymously (not disclosing any details about me) that this person does not and has not ever lived here?
4. Unfortunately I did open the letters as i thought initially they got the first name wrong. I checked their website and it states I should fax them a utility bill to prove its not me, should I do this?
5. Hi people I've received 2 or 3 letters at my address from Marston bailiffs for payment of £400 for a certain person. That person doesn't even live at my address and has never lived at this address. I have no idea who it is, the only thing that links this person with me is that they have the same surname as me. This person is not related to me in any way shape or form. How do I get Marston to know this seeing that they don't even have a contact telephone number and personally I dont want to give much of my details to a bailiffs for security reasons. Any advice appreciated Thanks
