Would you mind having a look at mine Peter if you have time. Mine is plastered on page 83 (couldnt even manage to post it correctly) post no 1656. Many kind people have looked at it and done the maths but I am non the wiser what to do next. I have sent WF a SAR and a CCA this week.

Can I ask a silly question please : well behind the rest of you, just finished typing up cca and sar to welcome, going to post now, postal order for each, recorded delivery etc, but why dont we sign letter please; ended letters yours faithfully ******* ******* (name printed) is that it or do I still print name not sign in pen

Been trying to fight Welcome with just letters and phone calls for 2 years now but thought it was just us having a problem with them until I found this forum. Mindblowing information on here and realised we are far from alone in our battle and would never have got anywhere with our little letters and calls. I have read every post on here with much interest and shock so much so that I had it all scrambled in my head. Slowly getting there now and will be busy tomorow drafting out my letters, with many many thanks to all of you, especially to the people that have replied to me and helped me. Dont think some of you realise what you have done for us small individuals that plod along paying our bills but moaning because we know they are not right but have not known how to deal with them. Very big thanks to you all - will be celebrating with you when hopefully WELCOME has WELGONE !

I have been exactly the same pru, but have read too much and meeting myself coming backwards now !! What I still dont understand is : Do I just write to NU or DG or both or subject access request them ? Have tried emailing NU on contact us website but email wont go through, comes up with no account ! Have just looked at a template for a CCA but too scared to use it incase there is nothing wrong with my HP Agreement. Any more advice from anyone please

Hello I have spent morning creating a subject access request for Welcome. Also been on NU website and tried to send emails on Contact Us, but my emails wont go through, something about no account with them ? Any advise please, also is it worth starting anything now or should we just sit back and wait and see what happens. I realy dont understand all I have read about acceptance fees, mine was for £150 for a car loan, it looks like interest is added but I dont remember if I signed for this or not back in April 2004, it also shows I paid a deposit, but somehow the deposit has been added back into the loan. As I said earlier the maths dont add up to me ! I have a yellow and green copy and there is no countersignature from Welcome, but could that be on the main copy that they keep and not mine ? Any advice would be gratefully received, very confused.

Hello Again Have tried to start a new thread, not sure what im doing to be honest, have probably been 1 of the guests on here for a few weeks, not knowing how to get on. Here goes Took a loan with welcome in April 04 for a car. Was paying ok until unemployed in Sep 04. Begged WF to repose the car as couldnt pay for it. They collected it 7 months later. Then the letters started, I asked for proof that they had sold the car at auction, they wouldnt give me proof but told me the small price they got for the car. A guy started knocking the door for money. After some discussions they came up with a monthly price to repay over 24 months, I thought resonable and asked for it in writing, when the letter came the figure was over 48 months and hey presto they had lost the recording of the original phone call. I got CAB involved and they go nowhere, a statement they had to request twice turned up 2 months later. No answers to questions, PPI etc. There was PPI on the loan and WF have just rang this evening requesting payments. I asked who is my insurance with they said NU. I asked for a policy number, they gave me one but it is not the same as on the original policy document. The policy ran from Apr 04 until May 08. I also asked for a statement which they said there will be a charge for, I explained never had a statement except for the 1 requested by CAB, so they say they are sending 1 free of charge !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have also said that tonights call is being recorded and that I must keep up my payments, otherwise it will be handed to Lewis Group. After reading this forum I am questioning whether my insurance was valid so now going to email NU. After looking closley at the paperwork I found that there is no countersignature by Welcome. The maths dont seem to add up but not being mathematical this might be in order. I deeply apologise if gate crashing or pushing in but any advise would be very gratefully received.
