  1. Hi No I have not had any court order, judgement against this debt at all. Otherwise I am sure I would have been able to arrange a payment that was more comfortable to me. When I got a bit upset with them earlier, I said, take me to court, you will do me a favour, as then I can put forward all of the times I have tried to contact Wonga for payment plans, and also their dubious allies. What are your thoughts? If they have not taken me to court, can bailiffs still come round? emmie
  2. Hey guys, Thank you for all of your help. So thats the subject access to Wonga, and the CCA to Marston Group. I am so cross that I have tried to sort out with them for weeks and they have ignored me on purpose. Obviously for the sake of interest. emmie7
  3. Hi Should I send this to Wonga, or the Marston group? I am have an agreement to pay the 200.00 on the 30th March, I have no money until then, so could not pay anything before hand. I really appreciate your advice? I am scared, its just me and the kids this week, my partner is away, so trying to get things sorted before he comes home emmie
  4. Hi There I stupidly took out a Wonga loan in November 2008. I could not afford to pay it back and defaulted on my loan. I have tried on numerous occasions to set up a payment plan with Wonga, but never recieved a response (my method of communication would be email) then I recieved a letter from a solicior called Chainey, De'mateo and Shannon, i tried to call them more times than I can remember to set up a payment plan, again, no response, no call back. I emailed Wonga again to say I had been trying to make contact. No response. On Saturday I recived a letter from the Marston group to say that they were dissapointed that I had not responded to the hand delivered notice (I have never recieved one) I called the name on the letter today, and lost my cool, was a complete girl and cried, I am ashamed to say, I am so frustrated. I understand that I have defaulted but I have been trying to pay this back with no response from anyone to arrange a plan. The amount I now owe is 1032.00, original amount was 350.00. I have had to push myself way beyone my means to pay 200.00 this month, and then go from there. She said she has put my account on hold. I have sent a recorded letter and email today detailing what we had agreed over the phone. As they were so heavy handed. I am really scared I am juggling debt all over the place, I haven't told my partner what financial stress I am under. He is so good with money. Have I done the right things? Is there anything else I can do? Thanks in advance emmie
  5. Hi there I took out a Wonga loan (stupidly I know) in November 2008. I could not afford to pay it back. They added on a ridiculous amount of interest. Anyway I then started recieving letters from a solicitor called Chainey, D'mateo and Shannon. I tried to contact them numerous times, left messages but nobody ever got back to me. I emailed Wonga to explain that I had tried to contact Chainey, again no reply. So Saturday I recieve a letter from Marston Group, saying I had failed to respond to a hand delivered notice (I never recieved one!) I now owe £1032.15, the original balance was 350.00 I think. I finally had a name of someone to speak to, so I called her today and was furious, I have been trying to organise paying this debt for weeks, and have been ignored, and am now having this real heavy handed action taken against me. I explained I could only afford I thought about 20.00per month. This was not good enough, so I am going to have to push myself to 200.00 by the 30th March, I really can't afford this, but I can't see another way of making this problem go away. She told me that my account was on hold, and I guess when I call on the 30th March we will revisit and sort out what to do next. I have sent her a recorded letter today detailing the agreement, and the fact my account is on hold. Does anyone else have any other advice? I curse the day I got involved with Wonga emmie7
