I'm close to telling them all to f**k off but i won't. i'm just aware of what it is doing to her. looks like i'll be getting the kids to make for mothers day! i just need/ want advice. feel like i'm starting to get depressed. people at work have commented that i am not the happy go lucky bloke i was 2 months ago. just keep putting a brave face on it all!
  3. i'm intrested in this tread, my wife has just had a call from them too at work. i reasached this company when they wrote to me. then they called. they asked for payment. told them that i didn't reconise them as a company and how did i not know that they were not a con! tryin g to get info out of me for fraud...... he promptly passed me on to a supervisor who told me they worked wih mbma as well. told him the same story and that i would not talk to him. the calls ae really what gets me down most i've chalked up is 9 missed calls in two hours! had them call at 8 am this morning! then again at 8.20 both for my wife wo i had previously told them that she was at work. agan told them that at 8.20 did they think she would be back from work that early!
  4. hi all, found your site on sat night, after much looking for help and advice on anything to do with clearing my debts...... really confused as to what to do. so i'll start at the begining, appologise in advance for the length of the post or the way i ask questions. learning alot and fast.....Last may we were happy, yes we struggled with a few payments but we managed, we were expecting our thrid child.then my wife and i were delt with a massive blow and told that the unborn baby would not survive, this knocked both of us my wife obviously worse than me. it led to her being off work for 2 months, so it was 2 months with only one income and 2 kids who needed stuff. i started to really hit the cards badly to pay everything and i mean everything! i had called some of the banks/cards in sept last year when first confronted with the problem, i explained everything and was basicly told tuff, you need to pay. not very sympathetic as they had stated in there letters. so we thought lets go to the bank, what can they do to help.we'd been told by our bank to take a consolidation loan, they put in touch with a subsidary company of there's. they were no help passing us round and round. no equitity they told me! great! we're starting to default now on alot of the cards and this is not good i know that and so does my wife. Cut a long story short..... we've been put on to a debt management company who tell us that we have £380 disposable income, then i found yourselves. not signed anything with the debt management company. i called cccs who told me go bankrupt:eek:. don't won't to do that if i can help it. Called Payplan. so chap nothing i can do to help you, here's some forms to send to your creditors. oh and send a £1 minimum each month! Really don't know where to turn next. I've started to put together the CCA letters, do i send a SCA or is it SAC letter as well or does the one letter cover all. I'm being stung badly by the bank on charges! Any advice would be greatful Total debt: 70k It's double mine and my wifes annual income!
