Can somebody tell me if there is a time limit between issuing a Judgement and issuing a Warrant of Execution with MoneyClaim?

Equifax had all of my mums credit info on my file as well as my own! When I rang equifax they said it was because we had similar names they thought that we were the same person! Even though there were clearly 2 different birth dates on there! I also had financial associations on my file with people that I had no financial link to, it took me ages to sort my files out. Even now Equifax still cannot differentiate between me and my mum so her details are still on my file and equifax have only added a Notice of Correction to say that we are separate people instead of taking all her details off?? It is absolutely ridiculous, this kind stuff is ruining people's lives.

Hi All Did Smile close your account after successfully claiming? I will be sending off my claim to Smile soon, but I am hoping they won't close the account afterwards as I would really like to continue banking with them.

Does an item on your credit file stay on for 6 years from the time it was opened, or from the time it was settled? For example I have an item on my file that was opened in Jan 2000 and was settled in 2003. Should this be removed now or will I have to wait another 3 years for it to come off?

Similar situation for me too. My Egg account was being handled by an account management company but Egg have stated on my credit file that I have 8 consecutive missed payments. I do not believe that this is the case as the Account Management company were still making small payments even when they were in negotiation with Egg to come to a satisfactory agreement. And even when I managed to pay off the full amount Egg still did not update my credit file, it was only after I sent several secure messages that they have finally upgraded my credit file but it still only says "Partial Settlement" and the account has been "Satisfied". I have no idea what to do about this. Trying to get Egg to do something for you is like trying to get blood out of a stone.

I was £3 in credit just yesterday, all my bills have been paid for the month and had nothing else to come out. Checked my balance today and i'm £175 overdrawn, this is all bank charges and I don't have an overdraft! So no doubt I will be getting charged again for going overdrawn when it was their charges that made me go overdrawn in the first place! Come next pay day un-Intelligent Finance will definately be getting a DPA letter sent!

I have a Smile Current Account and also a Smile Credit Card. I am about to send DPA letters to find out my charges, but am unsure whether to send 1 letter and include £20 for both account info or should I send 2 separate letters?

Can I claim back car finance charges the same way as claiming back bank charges? I recently received a letter from the company stating that they had added £35 to my monthly payment because I missed the payment (just changed jobs and payday is now 4 weekly instead of monthly and I'm struggling to maintain my bills as payday is never on the same date).
