  1. Thank you for your reply. I have googled the telephone number because of concerns it was a [problem]. It is a company called Network Research, I have contacted their CEO who has said they are working for Halifax to find out what I think of customer service. They have disclosed the calls which they have made, the concern is that some are silent calls or they ask for you by name and then put the phone down.
  2. Have had 3 or 4 calls recently from cold callers working for Halifax. When you answer phone it goes dead or they ask for you by name and then ring off. Has anyone else had these calls which are to get your feedback for service received. Are Halifax allowed to give 3rd party your contact details ?
  3. The Leicester County Court are sending me a form to allow the Warrant to be redirected. If I am unable to find the real address in Leicester then I will have to pay a fee to change the warrant address to the Head office in London and the Bailiff will then execute the warrant there. All the fees are added to the warrant. Barclays are named as the lender on the land registry and have accepted it is their customer. The court have already asked for an immediate payment to be received within 2 days which was ignored and that was why an additional fee was paid and the Bailiff instructed. I have been tweeting them today for the real address but they refuse to give it !!!
  4. it was for legal fees, I am a freeholder and the leaseholder failed to pay for repair works at the property, insurance and ground rent totalling over £2000.00. A land registry search revealed the leaseholders lender was Barclays. They were contacted by phone. post and email on multiple occasions over six months. Eventually they said I would have to use a solicitor to recover the money owing and that they would pay the legal fees. A solicitor managed to recover the whole amount due but not including the legal fees. when I presented the solicitors invoice to Barclays they refused to make promised payment. I contacted the Chairman of Barclays by post explaining what they had agreed but to no avail. I then started a county Court Claim which was sent to the address they advised could be used for service of documents, the Head office of the Mortgage Department Leicester was the address on the summons, the immediate payment request from the court and the warrant.
  5. Yes that is the address which they gave and the address which is on the summons and warrant.
  6. The summons was issued, they did not reply within the 14 days, I left it a further 3 weeks and contacted the court, judgement was entered and an immediate payment within 2 days was issued by the court this was also ignored . A warrant was issued but the bailiff was unable to serve because of the PO Box address and was unable to find the real address.
  7. Barclays were well aware a County Court claim was being started because I asked them for the address for service which they gave as the PO Box address. The Court in Leicester are now sending me a form to allow the warrant to be reissued at either the address in Leicester if it can be found or the Head office in London. Barclays are aware of the warrant but still refuse to give their real address, thank you for your interest.
  8. Thank you for your post. We have been calling them for months and the only address they give is the PO Box NO. I will try the reverse PO box look up.
  9. I have issued a County Court Summons against Barclays Mortgage Service, PO Box 8575. As they failed to respond I have entered judgement against them and a warrant for full payment was attempted to be issued by the bailiff, because we only have a PO Box address the bailiff is unable to execute the warrant. Does anyone know the real address for this office in Leicester ?
  10. I wrote to Capital One on behalf of my wife and myself, one letter was answered with a load of excuses and the other was ignored. I issued 2 summons's and we received 2 identical letters yesterday and today refunding £312 and £352 respectfully. So don't give up send a summons with interest !!!
  11. Fatbelly, I am in court with citi on the 16th February. They have already had the bailiff round to see from an earlier hearing but they would not tell him or me their address for service, I only had PO Box address. They then sent a barrister and had the case set aside because they said they had not received summons, but mysteriously they had the case no. At that hearing they had to repay the bailiff fee and they payed then the balance on the card around £400. I am still claiming a further £850.00
  12. Thats not strictly true as I have been registered for a few weeks and have only just got around to sending in a message I have already had several refunds, one from HSBC for £1076.00 and £1200.00 from Citi Bank who have now got the bailiffs chasing them because they have not payed up. Hopefully a cheque will be sent in the next few days. Don't be put off by the banks and keep going ~ it is well worth the effort
