  4. Thanks... have been waiting until 5pm today to start the judgement and then aaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh! Think I will try again tomorrow and then call if I don't have any joy
  5. So if my claim was issued on 27th April and they have not acknowledged my claim, then I should be able to start a judgement today - yes? Because I can't! Have I missed some vital information? Have I forgotten something?
  6. My letter didn't say fees are automatically added. Just a basic 'bog off and stop wasting our time' letter x 2 Just had a letter offering me everything I wanted, 10 days after filing online. Go for it! Get the buggers!
  7. Filed on moneyclaim and Cap One acknowledged the day after, indicating that they would be defending the whole claim. However, 10 days later I receive a letter from them saying that they are happy to settle out of court for the full amount plus interest plus £30 paid to file. I have of course signed this agreement and returned it to them and await my cheque for almost £170. I am so happy I am doing half - cartwheels. Full cartwheels when the cheque actually arrives! If anyone is having doubts about reclaiming charges, bite the bullet and go for it! CG
  8. You should have said... 'Cos I have run out of Andrex...'
  9. They'll do anything to delay...
  10. Obtained last 6 years worth of statements under DPA £615 worth of charges. Wrote initial letter on 1st April, giving 14 days. No respsonse. Wrote LBA on 18th April (Easter weekend) and letter arrived from them on 23rd April offering me £270 as full and final and guiding me to the complaints leaflet they sent me on 24th March (Eh? I didn't write until 1st April. Are they psychic? Did they see this coming?) Have written back and will post tomorrow, saying thanks but you have a further 7 days to give me the full amount or else I file a claim for outstanding amount, interest and costs. CG
  11. Mine was £50... 2 charges in one month... Barclays.... boooooooooooo! Guess I don't win this one then?!
  12. Write and say thanks for the £500, however if I don't receive the outstanding amount of £x within the next x days then I will be filing a claim. Am in exactly the same boat...
  13. My account is closed, but admittedly only in the past 8 weeks. I have had the 'standard' £40 refunded (since account was closed) but nothing else. Have filed a claim for £120 plus interest and court costs, which Cap One had said that will defend...
  14. How come you are only going back as far as 2002? Was that when the account opened? Good luck with the claim CG
