  1. Thanks for the link Freebird I was aware of it but just clicked on it again and noticed this OMG
  2. Sorry you have had bad news LP .. but I still wouldn't lower your usual excellent standards to the level of some others
  3. broken leg doesn't seem to be counted under the DDA .. but you could always take it up with your MP if you think it should be included .. a blue badge is a long established acceptance of confirming someone is disabled as far as parking goes. a grovel is not needed
  4. You , no anyone else who is interested would of done the same as me and actually done some research and found out for them selves
  5. if you feel you was one of the people who was just plain nasty at times then yes .. if you think your posts have been helpful to the OP then no .. I don't think it needs a genius to see the reasons behind your posts .. but of course my thoughts on your behaviour throughout this thread remain confidential now go and bait someone else as I think you have failed to bait the OP and you will have even less chance of baiting me oh did I say CONGRATULATIONS seftonview anything you may have got is IMO well deserved and may hopefully get retailers to start abiding by the law .. or at least a step in the right direction
  6. Good day and I think the barrister wasn't expecting it Look forward to the next stage as you know I will be there Really nice to meet you Lancasterchelsea
  7. Firstly CONGRATULATIONS :D :D I for one am glad you started this thread and made people aware that they are able to claim because of this .. for that THANK YOU as a long standing user of CAG I also feel the need to apologise to you for the way some people have been right the way through your thread .I can assure you that the majority of the users in CAG are not like this .
  8. They had until 4pm today to reply and nothing. I will wait a few more days before sending LB
  9. have you not read in the Echo about that garage ...there has been a number of stories ... obviously not or you would not of used it .. it's 2 mins away from my house and I would never go there nice to see you back around freebird

  12. you got no chance .. I have the smallest gob so I claim first bite and yes I said that with a straight face
  13. have I won welcome back Crusher .. I missed you .... have I won now
  14. Ny kids shouting '' mum mum mum mum mum '' .. I hear it in my sleep but a hundred times better then not having kids in the house
  15. I always hear how bad AOL is but I have been with them for aprox 8 years and am quite happy . If I ever do have a problem with them they always compensate me by reducing the amount I am paying . So far I have had free broadband, for 3 months at a time ,on so many occassions that I have lost count. My total bill for broadband and unlimited phone calls should be £21.98 ..I have had it reduced loads of times . Only yesterday I got the package again reduced and now only pay £9.99 that was just for having ( usually rare ) disconnection problems over 2 days .Where else could I get wireless and unlimited phone calls for that price . I know that all that happened in #post 1 is bad service but overall I don't think AOL is as bad as it is made out to be ... well not in my case anyway
  16. I know my father would of only used either of 2 companies , Royal Liver or Co-Op . sorry for temp hi-jack Dave882 Will you let us know how you get on with this please Dave882 .
  17. I have three children with special needs that I constantly have to fight for, almost weekly .. sometimes you just run out of fight and need time to recharge . sorry again for Hi-jack I just wanted to explain that sometimes things are not as easy to do as it looks
  18. hang on you say he has been turned down , sorry turned down by who and on what grounds ?
  19. A parent can ask for their child to be assessed for a statement .From what you have said if it was my child I certainly would apply . I would also put all of your queries about what help your child is currently recieving from the school in a letter and send it recorded delivery to the head teacher .Never ever have important maters discussed verbally unless you then take notes and send a letter saying on xx date we discussed this .. you stated xx etc .. can you confirm in writing that this will be acted on . If you do get your child statemented I would VERY carefully look at what they have said your child needs .Sometimes they put sentences like eg .. speech therapy as required .. this is just not good enough .You need it statemented exactly what is required . What part of the country are you in ? as my child has speech problems but I am not able to have him statemented as the LEA say enough resources are in for speech .. even though there is far from enough. Any way apply , what have you got to lose .
  20. was you talking to me or OP ? I'm guessing me as OP has already said he's already started proceedings . I would of course write a letter first as I did say I was considering my options .. did you not read my post If I do decide to start a claim I will start my own thread and would not want Seftonviews thread Hi-jacked by a comment I have made .( its already been hi-jacked to death ) I was only pointing out that by people not 'policing' these parking places does make things very difficult for disabled people to make use of the facilities .As in my sons case he had to stop swimming .
