  1. I have been working for a major retailer for a long time, more that 15 years now.last year had an accident...had an operation on my hand...lost wrist movement as one of the bones was shattered.they had to put metal screws in...i have been on sickness for a while...never claimed a benefit penny in my life till this second.had tyo reduce my hours,go unpaid....basically suffered on my own, plus having to support a family.now physically my hand which is the right one is useless, can't bend my wrist,or lift etc...my job was leading a team, taking deliveries..moving cages ,filling stock....customer service...you name it....a lot of things . now work are treating me like they don't care ,telling me that i have to do my job regardless...if not i have to step down from my role and see wether they can they consider me for another position with less money? Is this a fair treatment? How could i go on the defensive as i have a meeting with them soon.thanks guys
  2. there is a lot of scams around Western union these days....either they withdraw your money the other end...after an MTCN whisper...or they cancel your transaction if you have done it online !....then your money is hanging somewhere(that's when western union decides not to refund due to @technical error@preventing them. Then you would be lost, your money is out of your account, the bank did not have it,your receiver did not see it...western union who took it out, didn't know where it went!strange! My advice if you have to use WU pay it through a good credit card, that way you know they are messing with the bank's money!!!!!!
  3. hi there, just an update,i've sent 1st credit a status barred letter to which they answered the following: "In your letter you claim the account is statute barred as no acknowledgement or payment has been made in the last six years.however barclay card has confirmed the last payment you issued to them was for £80 on the 08 of august 2005.please also find the enclosed statement of account confirming all your payments made to 1st credit limited.you will notice first payment of £45 received on the 12 of sep2006 and the last payment of £45 received on the12 of april 2007.in the light of the above we do not deem this account statute barred.we confirm that this account is shown as a default against your credit file and your balance is required in full.it is urgent that this balance is recovered, please contact our office on.....to make payment......." then on the second page they called a statement it says the following: "payment details .............reversal from connaught .............reversal from connaught .............reversal from connaught .............reversal from connaught etc. we don't recall making these payments, but however they made us doubt....is there a way out of this or limit our damage as we are struggling this time, kids etc.... thank you all
  4. thanks for your help P1. I'm sending the status barred letter to the DCA.At the same time i'm asking barclaycard for SAR on this address :barclaycard 1234 pavilion drive northampton NN4 7SG.I hope it is right. DCA is threatening to commence legal action,is it wise to let them know about the SAR i'm asking from barclaycard?is there a template for it please? thank you
  5. hi,thanks for your reply,i'd appreciate if you could provide a template for CPUTR. Also a question is it worth asking for SAR to know when my last payment was done to them,as i'm quite sure it is more than 6 years since i've done any payment etc... thank you
  6. thanks for your reply, but could they take me to court with this application form, could it be taken as a cca or is it enforceable? Also what letter should i send them to ask them for a proper cca etc ? thank you
  7. it is a barclay credit card, last time i paid some of it was early 2005,so it is more than 6 years now, asked for a cca after nearly 4 months i get sent this as a cca.he collection agency is first credit. the agreement does only show my details, nothing about credit limit etc......a kind of signature is at the end,not really sure of it...only one a4 page they sent, what you see on here. please help what would be the best course to fight back here.thanks
  8. thank you all, hope these dca companies disappear one day and never come back.
  9. Hi all, I've had a letter from Robinsonway limited asking me to pay some kind of loan back. I have sent them the cca letter, prove it,however they failed to provide one, took them even a couple of months to answer me saying that ther are still waiting......sent them a letter again explaining that they failed to provide the requested documentation.... NOW this is their answer: WE REFER TO YOUR RECENT CORRESPONDENCE IN WHICH YOU STATE WE HAVE FAILED TO PROVIDE THE DOCUMENTATION REQUESTED WITHIN THE NECESSARY TIME PERIOD. YOUR ACCOUNT REMAINS ON HOLD AS WE DEAL WITH YOUR REQUEST,PREVENTING ANY COLECTION ACTIVITY AT THIS TIME.HOWEVER,THE DELAY IN OBATAINING COPY DOCUMENTATION DOES NOT MEAN THE DEBT DOES NOT EXIST.YOUR DATA WILL CONTINUE TO BE PROCESSED IN LINE WITH THE PRINCIPLES OF THE DATA PROTECTION ACT1998. WE WILL CONATCT YOUY IN DUE COURSE. What would be my next move please to stop these hasslers.thank you all.
